Tools: Power and Harmonics Analyzer (3-Phase, Single Phase), Anemometer, Bearing Checker, RH Tester, Micro-manometer, Voltmeter, Ammeter, Light Meter, Motion Sensor, Thermal Imager, Earthling current and Leakage Current meter, Electronic Stethoscope, Vibration Checker.
Responsibilities:
• Actively worked for proper development of energy conservation department.
• Established two sub departments mechanical and power conservation departments.
• Lead the mechanical conservation and power conservation teams.
• Ball bearings, winding wires, heating levels, inrush current, current spikes, frequency variations, KVA, KW, KVAR, capacity requirement and other required inspection was done of all the motors and efficiency of motors boosted from 65% to 85%.
• Replaced many out dated motors with new energy efficient IE2 standards having good heat dissipation quality.
• VFDs installed for soft start and speed variations where ever necessary.
• Installed power factor (pf) panels at sub control rooms of power of each department to improve the over-all pf from 0.94 to 0.99.
• Reuse of steam and boiler exhaust for pre-heating of boiler water and furnace oil was successfully accomplished.
• Implemented auto control of office air conditioners, fans and lights of offices, chiller, boiler and other such areas.
• Replaced all the florescent and sodium lamps with power efficient and long life LED lights.
• Light standards and optimization applied to minimize the number of installed lights.
• Transferred the lights from ceiling to on top of the production machines as a result better light on operational areas of machines and number of lights decreased to 1/3rd.
• Transformer tests to check their proper working and take proper measures to fulfill any deficiency.
• Scheduled power load shift from one transformer to other and cut off input supply to the other transformer to save standby power loss.
• Replaced 20x25KW motors with 20x4KW motors by redesigning the RH controlling\’showering system.
• The use of humid air of return fans of humidity system maximized after proper treatment.
• Compressed air boosters were installed to use residual compressed air which replaced many small air compressors.
• Thoroughly inspected pollutants level in the flue gases of power engines and boilers.

• Designed steam condensate reuse complete system from condensate collection in a single storage tank, purification, then up lifting to boiler inlet in semi steam form. The project designed in AutoCAD 2D and also calculated its cost and payback period.
• Diesel engines were automated to use natural gas in each third cycle to decrease the per unit production cost of power.
• All the air conditioner, fans and lights were shifted to automatic control by the motion sensor in the presence of staff.
