I am currently engaged as the MENA Global Knowledge Consultant for Fragomen, UAE. My role revolves around advising clients on matters pertaining to MENA immigration law and policy, to research on prevailing immigration trends, and acting as the regional point-of-contact for Fragomen's Global Knowledge team.
I am engaged as an outsourced analyst on this project sponsored by South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE) and USAID. The project has been designed to harmonize and integrate the various stock exchanges of South Asia, spur cross-listing, lower investor risk, and ultimately aid macro-economic development. I have been tasked to support the project team in planning the review of relevant reports and documents and create procedures that could help gauge project success, ensure the timeliness of deliverables, and help evaluate results against expectations.
• Worked in the Consumer Banking Department of Citibank Pakistan's Lahore branch
• Was tasked to prepare a report that compared Citibank's product range and service standards with some of the leading banks in the country
• Assisted the Citi team in catering to customer requests, resolving complaints, and selling certain investment and insurance products to customers
• Assisted Management during the demutualization and corporatization process
• Worked on several tasks pertaining to financial analyses, research, documentation, and HR
• Helped create a detailed valuation report to be presented to the Board of Directors
• Worked closely with the Corporate Finance team and a team of international students that were present to assist-in and observe the demutualization process
• Worked in the Assurance Department as part of an engagement team that was tasked to audit a diverse array of companies
• Assisted in the interim audit of AECOM, a fortune 500 company, and the analytical review of SinoGulf, a highly profitable construction & consultancy company
• Carried out several audit tests and was often tasked to assist in client meetings to gain sufficient audit evidence
• Assigned to work in the Operations and Clearing departments
• Assisted in the preparation of several important financial statements and research reports
• Prepared monthly newsletters to be distributed inside the institution
• Assigned to work in the Corporate Finance & Strategy Consulting business vertical
