Assigned to establish the “Cost Control and Claim” department in the company, reviewed all departments performance and provided improvement proposals, monitored running project costs against income and provided advices for maintaining cash flow, prepared cost plan for new projects; worked as commercial manager and proposed the best purchase option; worked as contract manager and prepared and or verified sub-contract agreements; conducted Commercial/Technical and Contractual knowledge, training course for company key staff, reviewed contemporaneous records and time impact analyses to establish and report on validity of claim proposal, development of claim narrative in coordination with site base teams and negotiation of claims with employers teams, reviewed and verified project cost estimates, assist tendering department
Led multi public works, including construction of cycle track, upgrading and expanding paved area and existing utilities consist of sewerage, storm water, irrigation networks and associate substructures; install power/telecom cables, adjust the level of the existing utility manholes/chambers; and also major soft landscape works.
Prepared and monitored projects cash flow, budget programming, cost control, supervising project quantity surveyors, subcontractor negotiation and selection, client liaison on commercial and contractual matters, compiled/submitted varied financial effects of variations, assisted in cost and risk management, prepared subcontract inquiry packages, processed and monitored claims and payments, reviewed project designs and advise, produced all financial reports, including cost value and forecast, administrated sub-contractors accounts, and progress to settlement avoiding dispute.
Led construction activities and control project schedules & costs through efficient use of all resources, managed a civil team of 70 employees, including site engineers, Created teams to work with subcontractors on projects. Design reinforced concrete vavle chamber and sub-structures, studied and reviewed drawings, method statements and contractual terms and conditions, coordinated with the procurement engineers for an on time material delivery and monitored material consumption, lead sub contractors and record quality and quantity of the work and verifying the work done, checked and ensured contract specification has been observed, assisting planning engineer and quantity surveyor to evaluate the progress of the work and prepared payment’s measurement sheets and variation claim documents, inspected and verifyed material quality prior to usage to insure compatibility with project specifications, checked safety level on site and attended on site safety meetings.
Worked as project engineer on Diftah-Shis road & tunnel construction project.
Led a civil team of 20 employees for construction management of two major reinforced concrete culvert structures, mobilized site office, coordinate and report the whole activities of the main contractor, cast major concrete for the culvert structure and wing walls from blinding stage to roof slab, install external waterproofing system.
Worked with GMT Consortium as the infrastructure contractor on stage 1 in phases 2 & 3 of the “International City” of Dubai. The project included road works, district cooling provision, power&communications networks, water distribution, sewerage, storm water, fire and irrigation networks.
Led civil team of 30 employees, utility works, sewer/storm water pipeline, gully pots and associated substructures, assisted planning and quantity surveyor team to update work progress and prepared monthly payment’s measurement sheets and supporting documents, scheduled and operated a tight concrete casting plan for the district cooling reinforced structure chambers, pre-cast manholes, and valve chamber units, supervised carting away bulk disposal materials, grading/compacting and preparing of sub-grade and sub-base, finalized crossing ducts and utilities, installation of street lighting, side kerbs and interlocking tile paving.

Military Service
Worked with Namvaran as an EPCM company headquartered in Tehran, Iran, which has been providing engineering, technical, procurement, construction and management services for Oil & Gas, Mine and Metals and Petrochemical industries since 1979. The project was included detailed design and procurement services of Arak Compressor gas Station the city of Shazand, Arak, Iran. Responsibilities include and was not limited to, assist the procurement coordinator in monitoring orders, tracking and delivery of equipments according to the plan, assist the senior civil engineer in order to review the design and supervising equipment installation comply with the design and the site HSE criteria, take off quantities, prepared shop drawings, daily, weekly and monthly reports.
