Supervising all the functions in the warehouse and working force.
To ensure that all inbound and outbound orders are processed and available to the client as per the agreed timelines and SOP of the individual client.
Adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures of working.
Communicate and co-ordinate with external stakeholders e.g. Customer Service on task status, operational issues and customer deliveries
Maintaining the inventory monitoring cycle counts and conducting audits results
Supervising proper shift allocations and ensuring efficiency of all warehouse staff.
Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment.
Supervise and carry out all the inbound, outbound, Value add, Rework operations in a manner consistent with the Port & Customs, JAFZA Health, Safety, EHS and other local government requirements and policies.
& Duties
Prepare, plan and execute area sales programs aimed at market penetration, availability of the company products and services at all times within the area.
Effective implementation of the distribution strategy in the trade to grow sales within the assigned area.
Ensure achievement of set sales targets i.e. annually.
Ensure internal collaboration, team work development and implementation of key management and sales routines.
Ensure shops are well branded according to Zain standards in order to create awareness and ensure that stores are wells stocked and sell at recommended sales prices, purchase, price, display and sell gift shop merchandise. .
Develop merchandise inventory plan and budget estimates for Zain gift shop.
Develop pricing policies for merchandise.
Identify merchandise vendors, negotiate orders to establish and maintain inventory.
Establish record keeping systems, maintain records and accounts for the assigned sales territories.
Ensure that the team carry out their daily tasks in a professional and timely manner.
Develop good internal and external relationship.
Ensure excellent communication channels between all levels of employees and management.
Create and maintain accurate and up to date information.
Responsible for leading a team within area of expertise within regional distribution centre.
Motivate the team to deliver common goals.
Identify ways to drive improvement.
Ensure health and safety training takes place and adhered to. .
