As a field engineer I am responsible of preparing and operating directional, resistivity and nuclear tools, that collect petrophysical data on the formation being drilled, and on the drilling process itself with a team of four people . Usually I spend 2-5 weeks in the desert to drill a complete well . My responsibilities as a field engineer include :

- Rigging up when arriving to the new location
-Sensors installation and calibration .
-Preparing and programming Measuring/Logging While Drilling (M/LWD) tools .
-Reading and interpreting drilling mechanics and formation well logs .
- Reading directional survey information .
-M/LWD tool and surface system troubleshooting
-Dumping M/LWD tools and processing the logs .
- Setting up VSAT and ensuring that real time data is streamed to the town .
- Communicating with our team in town and sending reports.
-Rigging down at the end of the job .
-M/LWD tools logistics
-LWD tools calibration
-Monitor and supervise trainees and junior engineers
