Managing Business Cycles-Budgeting and Forecasting
Preparation and presentation of consolidated P&Ls at brand and region level to the senior management along with a comparative analysis with the budget and forecast, identification of variances and insightful recommendations on steps to be taken to improve top line and profitability and control costs
Preparation of all monthly reports for internal stakeholders and head office

Performing detailed analysis of pricing at the SKU and brand level to ensure that end user pricing is competitive for the region and generates sufficient profits to absorb related marketing expenses and contribute positively to the overall operating profit.
Processing of Distributor Debit Notes in line with policy and budget / revised forecast, including periodic reviews of distributor reconciliations and their Statement of Accounts.
Actualizing the In-Market Sales (IMS) for the month and deploying budget based upon that.
Preparing, handling and finalization of accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
To suggest improvements to existing systems to improve efficiency relating to the bank reconciliation, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Supporting the Finance lead in the company’s cash flow management.
Performing the month end closing cycle, ensuring all postings and adjusting entries are made in the system in accordance with the company’s accounting policies.
Liaison with external/internal auditors and prepare audit working papers
Maintain up-to-date billing system, generate and send out invoices.
Coordinating with ERP team (Oracle) to help resolve issues.
Monthly sales report and variance analysis.
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities and initiate collection efforts
Inventory control & reconciliations on monthly basis.
Assessing business, financial and operational risks and mapping of controls (Risks and control matrix). Identifying weaknesses, addressing risk and giving suggestions to improve internal control system.
Planning, executing and finalization of internal audits. Ensuring effectiveness of internal controls and mapping risk to it and advising improvements
