market rates, benchmarks, PMO database, local and international references.
▪ Track and monitored factors that influenced cost variances and control changes to project budget from initiation phase to handover
phase. Developing monthly cost reports that enhanced accountability and streamlined the reporting process; highlighted
recommendations for improvement that helped achieve organizational goals for implementation of cost-effective budgets.
▪ Executed proactive approach to identify potential additional costs due to the project delay and low productivity of the contractor;
developed strategic plans that improved project monitoring to calculate unaccountable costs such as price fluctuations, Value
Added Tax (VAT), taxes, technology costs and changes in exchange rate
Major Achievements:
− Established a standard and unified coding structure and numbering system that facilitated comparison of contractor prices by
integrating each activity, resource, and work breakdown structure that helped accumulating costs and allocating to correct cost
accounts that helped performance analysis of budget with actual progress
− Highlighted potential additional costs to employer due to the project delay and low productivity of the contractor; conducted
trend analysis, EVM and forecast analysis and identified several unforeseen costs that were not accounted. Presented the impact
of increased indirect costs in comparison to direct costs by applying ratio analysis
− Developed construction cost database handbook for Saudi Arabia as well as UAE
− Achieved reduction of estimated costs of the remaining works of projects of value more than $ 4, 780 million by developing and
implementing effective cost control procedures as well as value management.
