Responsibilities includes among other things:
- Preparing plans of training activities related to students, staff, and local & rgional market
- Preparing annual Center budget in line with university’s guidelines
- Liaise and assist different departments & deanships in defining staff job description and training needs assessment.
- Represent Center and University at conferences, forums, gatherings related to training and development.
- Searching & negotiations for partnerships. Accreditations &Affiliations, with local, regional and international institutions and bodies.
- Supervising staff and running day to day activities
My duties include, among other things, developing professional certificates, building alliances and partnerships with regional & international institutes and companies, event management, analyzing and recommending concrete steps and procedures for development and image building of the company. Projects supervised and coordinated:
a) 3rd Marketing and Management Forum for Banking and Financial Institutions, Moevenpick Hotel, Kingdome of Bahrain, 27-29 October 2008, with partnership and coordination with Arab Academy for Banking & Financial Sciences, Amman, and American Banking Association (ABA).
b) Developing HR professional certificate with the American University in Cairo for Kuwaiti market
c) Developing a customized Language Learning Program for Kuwait Finance House.
Supervising all day to day administration process and planning new lines of business through introducing new partnerships, affiliations and international certifications and accreditations. Number of staff under my supervision are 13 (both teachers and administrative
Responsible for Agreements in General, and development of partnership projects with regional and international institutions and bodies in particular.
I have been project coordinator for the following projects:
1- DLC: the Distance Learning Center, which is a high tech center to be used in Academic and Development fields. DLC has been developed and established with the assistance and supervision of the World Bank Institute. All preparation work including defining aims & goals, structure lay out, furnishing, specifying technical and device equipments, staffing requirements and their job description, is completed and ready to be implemented.
2- TEMPUS: is a project which was coordinated with the European Union in order to receive a grant with an aim to develop and enhance the Quality Assurance system in the Arab Academy according to the EU standards.
3- Student Exchange Scheme: a project coordinated with Frankfurt School of Management & Finance aiming at exchanging students, scholars, and faculty members.
4- International Certification and affiliation: Searching, negotiations, defining, analyzing and developments of needs and requirement.
Main responsibilities were focused around conducting short and medium term courses such as hotel management, hospital management, computer sciences, etc. through partnership with continuous education departments & Centers in public and private colleges and universities in Jordan.
