Design Manager
Berkeley Group
Total years of experience :21 years, 2 Months
Currently managing the consultant design teams at the prestigious Royal Arsenal Riverside site in Woolwich. These projects comprise historic building refurbishments and new-build multistorey RC frame accommodation with a mixed use of retail, commercial and residential units. This includes the over station development above a new Crossrail station incorporating 20
storey tower blocks and multi level basements car parks.
As well as the Crossrail station the project involved S278 highway works, large multi utility statutory diversions and creation and expansion of district heating systems incorporating gas fired CHP. Due to constant review of value engineering options and negotiations with the design team, all projects on this site remained on programme and within budget, despite the financial
challenges of the economic environment.
