Projects:
Involved in designing and development of the following projects:
1. Numbers Portability Clearinghouse (NPC): an enterprise web solution to manage the inter-operators porting for mobile and fixed phone numbers. It supports the port processing function between porting operators and distributes port notifications that enable porting and non-porting operators to route calls to ported numbers.
This solution is customizable according to the customer’s requirements. MISD was developed and launched it in many countries: Saudi, UAE, Egypt, Greece, Mexico, Malaysia, Lithuania, Turkey, Pakistan and India.
2. Central Reference Database (CRDB): central database serve as the master copy of the routing data for all ported numbers in South Africa. It includes a software system that maintains the reference database through the implementation of the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) processes.
3. Centralized Database (CDB): an enterprise web solution which provides a centralized database of the communication providers; including the numbering plans, and numbers ownership, allocation and porting.
4. Numbers Management System (NMS): an enterprise web solution designed to manage the phone numbers allocation and reservation. It provides analytical information for the reserved resources and future forecasts of the resources need.
5. Service Interconnection Registry (SIR): an enterprise web solution to manage the inter-operators interconnection specifications such as billing, routing and so on.
