During the course of the last 18 years, Started from Junior Commissioning Engineer to Commissioning Projects Manager in one of the leading building services commissioning firms in the Middle East. The company possesses a comprehensive client base, serving to provide top quality engineering services to building owners, MEP consultants and contractors. The firm is a corporate member of the Commissioning Specialists Association (CSA) and follows stringently the commissioning codes outlined by CIBSE, BSRIA, NEBB, and SMACNA. From the onset of my career with Sutton, I have managed multiple projects simultaneously with an emphasis on all mechanical services.
Review of specification, drawings, Method statements, design details to ensure commissioning ability of Air conditioning, Ventilation, Heating, Chilled water, Fire fighting and Plumbing & Drainage systems, On site inspection and review of systems during the installation phase, through pre-commissioning to commissioning and final hand over. Experience in Commissioning Estidama / LEED projects in Middle East.
• Manage commissioning and start-up activities of MEP Division and maintain technical standards.
• Supervise commissioning and start-up activities for all projects, plan and direct start-up engineering assignments including undertaking the technical responsibility for interpretation. Organizing, executing and coordinating these assignments.
• Plan, develop coordinate and direct start up activities for all the projects. Provide start-up assistance at the jobsite.
• Assist with the identification of hand over systems and the establishment of priorities and sequence of completion
• .Review during the construction phase the status of testing and punch listing to ensure systems are turned over to commissioning and start-up in a smooth, safe and efficient manner.
• Input to project management, engineering and construction to ensure start-up requirements are incorporated into project activities, including review of project designs and construction to ensure plan operability and operating personnel safety
• Make contact with client management at key points throughout projects to ensure that start-up aspects are meeting client requirements
• Regularly review and appraise the structure of the start-up organization in terms of its ability to meet short and long term objectives and institute appropriate changes.
• Develop MEP commissioning Method Statement and Review Commissioning Method Statements of MEP work prior to final submission to client consultant.
• Develop Commissioning schedule and completion base on Project construction schedules.
• Commissioning site management of MEP services by checking installations progress according to specifications and design.
• Witnessing of testing & commissioning of system data prior to final inspection by the client representative management team.
• Management of MEP system integrated handover documents for client handover requirements. This includes operations & maintenance Manuel with commissioning test packs.
• Develop & prepare Estidama requirement BLB, LMP, Minimum Healthy Ventilation requirement as per ASHRAE 62.1
• Assists and provide technical assistance during T&C for MEP works.
Ensures that as built Drawings and O&M Manuals and related documentation are prepared, reviewed, submitted and approved in a timely manner and in accordance with contract requirements.
• Attend Management Meetings
• Train and Orient new recruits at Sites on Theoritical & Hands on Commissioning.
• Any other tasks assigned by Operations Director.
