Duties/Achievements include, but are not limited to:
• Introducing new methodologies to achieve high quality service with the best economical and technical efficiency for Kuwait operations.
• Actively interacting with customers and coordinating with the Company’s Regional Sales Managers and local Sales Representatives to execute the projects as designed.
• Preparing and issuing technical proposals including work scope, project plan and manpower plan for Field Service projects.
• Installing successfully the first ZEiTECS Rigless Shuttles with Schlumberger equipment in 2013 for KOC, which lead to the later acquisition of ZEiTECS by Schlumberger in November 2014.
• Overseeing the field operation of ZEiTECS Rigless ESP Retrievable Technology in the Middle East, Asia and some African countries.
• Coordinating with sales and manufacturing to execute the projects as designed.
• Evaluating the quality and efficiency of field operations through personal observations and QC.
• Assisting in the planning of operations to ensure high quality service with the best economical and technical efficiency for our clients WNPOC, PDOC, GNPOC, Saudi ARAMCO and KOC.
• Overseeing the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of a wide range of ESP equipment and related accessories, including ESP/By-pass Systems, ESP/CT-PLT Operations, Downhole Monitoring Systems, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Fixed Speed Drives (FSDs) and espWatcher/Liftwatcher Systems (Remote surveillance and control systems for the ESPs).
• Supervising some special projects for KOC: POD Systems in SE Kuwait, Water Dumpflooding in North Kuwait, Shrouded ESP+Y-tool, 18 Pulse VSD Preventive Maintenance.
Duties Include, but were not limited to:
• Installing and troubleshooting of ESP and FSD/VSD systems.
• Ordering necessary parts and materials.
• Working as a Safety Officer in the operation base camp.
Duties Include, but were not limited to:
• Managing Khartoum Distribution database.
• Preparing and reviewing electrical & structural drawings.
• Supervising the GIS implementation.
• Dealing with the EMS (Energy Management System) applications and assisting the ABB distribution consultant in replanning the national grid with the aid of the power system optimization software packages Calpos® and NEPLAN®.
