Duties:
- Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
- Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive
- Typing documents
- Diary management
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the office.
- Typing documents and distributing memos.
- Handling incoming / outgoing calls, correspondence and filing.
- Faxing, printing, photocopying, filing and scanning.
- Organizing business travel, itineraries, and accommodation for managers.
- Raising of purchase orders and invoice tracking.
- Setting up and coordinating meetings and conferences.
- Involvement in social media implementation.
- Updating, processing and filing of all documents.
- Providing customer services in a busy environment.
- Assisting customer in menu determinations.
- Served dishes at tables according to order.
- Ensuring the Cashier Tally Sheets are accurate at the Day End.
- Assisted the manager to clean and close the restaurants after the hours.
- Attended monthly staff meetings and training sessions.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and up-sell alternatives.
- Explaining how food is prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food, wines, spirits, liquors, and champagnes.
- Experience in a Front of House role.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Able and willing to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Building a rapport and relationship with customers.
- Experience of working in a 5 star luxury environment.
- Ensuring that customers enjoy their meals and taking action to correct any problems.
