Consultants are responsible for administering each of the phase of the implementation so that the required activities occur at the scheduled time and at the desired level of quality and with effective participation of all those who must participate.
For keeping the promises that the consultants have made during the negotiations, they have to transform their approaches and methodologies into detailed work plans. The methodology will have to be converted into tasks and should be allocated to the right people. The time schedule for each phase and each task has to be determined and the project plan has to be finalized.
Consultants should add value to the project. They bring know-how about the package and about implementation. This also known as practical knowledge is derived from their expertise, which stems from practical experience, because the consultants have seen many project and have made or seen many mistakes, they can avoid the phenomenon of 're-inventing the wheel'.
They will know what will work and what will not. Thus, by eliminating the trial and error method of implementation and doing it right the first time the consultants help in saving huge amounts of money, time and effort.
•Leading two I.T support members to providing best service solutions.
•Responsible for configuring, administering and maintain the Focus ERP Application (Installing application, installing and configuring database, implementation, create new screens and reports, modifying application settings, setting security policy, designing print lay-outs, dummy Implementations on testing server and apply changes on the year after, and solving all technical issues)
•Maintaining HR application and solving issues using MS Visual Studio 6 utility.
•Configuring and maintaining fourteen branches point of sales machines (software & hardware).
•Leading the team on collecting the daily sales via dial-up connection and manipulate the data and import it to the ERP application as invoices.
•Responsible for maintaining the applications databases (SQL Server 2000, 2005, Firebird SQL 2).
•Follow up with I.T team to maintain hardware and software issues rises on end-user system.
•Maintaining servers, computers, laptops, printers.
•Coordinate with ISP to maintain Jeddah and Makkah Offices VPN connection.
As a Project Manager I have successfully completed various projects which include, Implementations of Focus Sales & Distribution Manufacturing, and Financial Systems, Human Resources & Payroll I have done Software Projects Management for dealing with in-house and offshore development resources, and has Capability to work on both business and technical sides. I have managed Business Process Management Projects to develop Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) to monitor key business processes in real time.
In August 2002 I was promoted to be the desktop support project supervisor for the southern region in S.T.C and started handling the lan networks and stand on the maintenance of the servers and other devices i.t. network printers and PCs and that made me deal more with customers from different positions and dealed with the managers in stc by introducing products and solutions to provide the highest level of performance .
Worked as a data network engineer for Ebttikar Co. with S.T.C Abha in two different projects which are network and desktop support projects and dealed with various types of network i.e. wan and lan networks and various types of products i.e. HP, Compaq, IBM servers and Cisco products and experienced the art of dealing with customers, technical and project management skills .
Within the duration i spent working in Shahd And Mommayaz Computer Technology I did implement small network projects and stood on it's maintenance, Also renewed some networks, I applied the windows2000 and windows NT 4.0 as servers in my work, I applied Windows98, ME,
Windows2000 professional and Windows XP professional as workstations .
