In my duration as a teaching assistant in Circles Montessori Nursery, I developed skills
such as organizing the classroom, taking the lead in the absence of the teacher, and
keeping the children engaged and entertained all while ensuring their safety during
indoor and outdoor playtime and during free and organized activities. I further
developed my communication skills by interacting with parents on a regular basis.
In ECCO marina, I attended to the customer's needs and assisted them in finding the
perfect and most comfortable fit for them. I am trained to listen to and identify
customer needs, and solve them to the best of my capability. I was also trained to
work in a team, how to accommodate my team’s needs and have them depend on me
when needed such as running the store or taking over shifts and customers when
needed. I also developed my communication skills via talking to customers.
I volunteered for a month as a TA in the summer. During my time there, I watched the
children when the teacher had to be out of the class, I assisted in keeping the classes
organized and flowing smoothly by keeping the children focused and putting away
any clutter that may have formed in the duration of the class. I also assisted by taking
taking them to lunch during breakfast and lunchtime
During my time working as part-time staff in City Center, my main focus was leading
customers to any products, aisles or shopping categories they needed. I also heavily
focused on keeping the floor I was operating in presentable condition and ensuring all
products were in their places and nothing being displayed was expired or damaged. I
also took part in restocking products from the daily shipments and organizing them in
the warehouse
