• Monitor the HRDF initiatives and incentives programmes leading on their implementation to benefit the performance, reputation, standing and efficiency of Niagara College.
• Lead on the development of all HR Team to improve the service experienced of all employees alongside continued improvements in the accuracy of information and advice given across locations.
• Lead on the refinement and management of all stages of the onboarding and orientation process for new staff to ensure a highly effective employee onboarding and orientation programme.
• Lead on the refinement and management of all stages of the recruitment and contracting process from posting through to contracting and data collection.
• Lead on the refinement and management of all stages of preparation of riders, temporary contracts, and changes to employment contract for existing staff from receipt of request to issuance to employees.
• Lead on the refinement and management of all processes that include liaison and interaction with Government agencies whether in person, through written communication or through online portal access.
• Lead on the development of an Audit and Compliance framework for application across the HR Department that defines a sampling and review strategy as well as supports corrective actions and continued improvement.
• Devise, monitor and report on a range of Key Performance Indicators for the HR Team related to data accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
• Monitor compliance with Saudization rates and maintain Niagara College’s Platinum position
• Lead the collection and presentation of data and information for internal and external audits.
• Assist and monitor the HR Team in prioritising and managing workloads to ensure internal and external deadlines are met with high quality accurate submissions.
• Work closely with the Senior Management Team to develop efficient communication and foster best practice.
• Lead on the Performance Management of the HR Team ensuring that all members have clearly defined targets to contribute to the improved performance of the team and to develop them individually.
