Responsible for the management of teams of sub-contractor agents, refurbishing the BT national telephone exchange network and managing 21CN a £20 Million pound upgrade of BT exchanges.
Responsibilities Included
• Oversee running in new cables and securing them to the patch panels via correct terminals as laid out to site drawings and testing said cables once installed.
• Preparing work schedules in accordance with the clients budget and time frame.
• Contingency planning to ensure potential schedule delays was addressed.
• Formulating reports for presentations at Board level.
• Allocation of sub-contractor teams, according to tasks against team core skills.
• Budget control, ensuring sub-contractor hours did not exceed allocated budget costs.
• Devising and monitoring K.P.I.'s for sub-contractors and management.
• The recruitment and retention of key of engineers and support staff.
• Increased staff retention rates by 7%
