• Works as a Hydrocarbon Control Practices (HCP) Coordinator. Works closely with Maintenance, Field and Plant Operations to ensure Hydrocarbon Control Practice (HCP) standard and procedures are followed.
• Acts as SAMREF Representative Witness in all third party meter/prover calibrations, proving and tank calibration to ensure the compliance with API MPMS, SAMREF standards, permits to work system, and safety requirements.
• Provides technical support associated with custody transfer measurement, installation, commissioning, improvement, calibration and maintenance of metering devices at site. Also attends design reviews, FATs, and SATs.
• Ensures that all proving and calibration schedule are implemented and performed for compliance as per company’s agreement requirements and in accordance with standard industry standards (API MPMS), and meters are working within its specified accuracy.
• Monitors metering equipment performance to ensure the measurement/metering systems are working within its specified accuracy.
• Continually reviews the measurement systems and provides technical assistance on all measurement/metering issues for root cause analysis studies.
• Maintains all technical documentation derived from metering, proving and master meter/prover operations.
• Validates meter ticket, proving, and calibration calculations.
• Verifies and updates metering equipment and/or range changes, equipment tags, and ensures the master meter list is current.
• Supports Gain (Loss) investigations through ATG verification and ship/shore/BL discrepancies.
• Ensures that all ATG verification and Tank PM’s are being completed by operator as per scheduled.
• Validates tank calibration report and carries out the process of checking and updating the tank strapping data to system.
• Ensures the weighbridge verification is preformed according to company’s procedure and SASO 534 standard.
• Prepares Oil, Gas and Utilities Measurement Monthly report for Steering Team (ST) meeting.
• Participates in internal measurement audits and assessments.
• Conduct calibration of horizontal cylindrical tanks (API/MPMS Chapter 2.2E).
• Conduct calibration of vertical storage tanks (API/MPMS Chapter 2.2A - Manual Tank Strapping Method) and (API/MPMS Chapter 2.2B - Optical Reference Line Method).
• Conduct calibration of storage tanks (API Standard 2555 - Liquid Calibration of Tanks).
• Conduct calibration of various custody flow meters (API/MPMS Chapter 4.5 - Master Meter Provers) and (API/MPMS Chapter 4.4 - Tank Provers).
• Conduct pipeline calibration (API/MPMS CHAPTER 2550).
• Conduct calibration of barges (API/MPMS CHAPTER 2.7).
• Conduct calibration of tanks on ships and ocean going barges (API/MPMS CHAPTER 2.8A).
• Conduct volumetric or bulk survey using Topcon and make the necessary 3D presentation using Autodesk Land to compute the volume of the bulk.
• Attend/Conduct/Witness Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) verification.
• Inspect, coordinate, prepare and make necessary installation to accomplish the assigned task.
• Accomplishes calibration reports.
• Supervised field personnel (driller operators, plumbers).
• Formulate and improve well drilling techniques to minimize time and effort.
• Evaluate projects, job orders and other related services.
• Deal; solve problems and complaints of the customers and employees.
• Prepared estimations, quotations, and/or proposals for job orders.
• Maintain and ensure the machines and equipments are in good condition.
• Evaluate the performance of the servicemen.
• Setting targets and motivating staff to meet them.
• Arranging work rotas and making sure that there is always enough staff to cover the services.
• Trained workers to be more equipped.
