Summary of work or job function:
• Package management activities:
➢ Focal point of technical related issues and communications between Atkins, Client and
Supplier
➢ Provides technical support to procurement to ensure overall technical integrity of the PO.
Procurement support activities includes developing material requisitions, evaluating technical
quotations developing bid tabulations, advising technical recommendations and issuing
purchase requisitions.
➢ Manages all interface points between the package and other disciplines (compatibility,
integration, scope, and operability).
➢ Participate and leads supplier meetings - kick off meetings and progress meetings.
➢ Review of supplier documents to ensure compliance with the project requirements and
specifications as per PO.
➢ Package Close Out.
• Resolving technical queries (client, supplier and internally within different engineering
disciplines), particularly during installation and commissioning.

▪ API 674 - Slops Oil Re-Injection Pump / Flush Water Pumps
▪ ASME B73.1 - Utility Water Pumps (Centrifugal, ASME B73.1)
▪ Miscellaneous Handling Equipments - Jib Crane and Hoists
• Package management activities:
➢ Focal point of technical related issues and communications between McDermott, Client and
Supplier
➢ Provides technical support to procurement to ensure overall technical integrity of the PO.
Procurement support activities includes developing material requisitions, evaluating technical
quotations developing bid tabulations, advising technical recommendations and issuing
purchase requisitions.
➢ Manages all interface points between the package and other disciplines (compatibility,
integration, scope, and operability).
➢ Review of supplier documents and internal documents (specifications and drawings) to
ensure compliance with the project requirements, engineering standards and government
policies.
➢ Direct Involvement in inspection requests by the Client and evaluate shop drawings and
material submission for approval.
➢ Visit to supplier’s works to resolve engineering issues / expedite progress.

project design, as per project requirements and in compliance with laws & regulation, good
engineering practice and industry codes and standards.
• Review of Fire Fighting Equipment for offshore installation - production deck modules. Fire
detection systems, fire pumps, deluge systems, water monitors, sprinkler systems and fixed fire
fighting systems - CO2 for protection of control rooms and machinery space.

Responsible for the engineering works on various packaged / rotating equipments from Front End
Engineering Design (FEED) up to Detail Engineering.
• Assisted in the preparation of project specifications on rotating equipments for screw
compressors and centrifugal compressors
• Preparation of Mechanical Equipment Datasheets of the following:
▪ Gas Turbine, Screw Compressors, Centrifugal Compressors, Scrubbers, Air Coolers
▪ Oily Water Treatment Package
• Perform related activities from RFQ to Purchase Order preparation of the following
mechanical equipments:
▪ Screw Compressor Package
▪ Gas Turbine Alternator Package
▪ Gas Turbine Centrifugal Compressor Package

• Perform technical and economic evaluation of vendor proposals for compressors and
various package equipments based on overall cost and operational value
• Coordination of engineering work related to compressors and various package equipments.

➢ Responsible for modelling mechanical equipment as to latest vendor drawings for project
interface with other disciplines through PDS equipment modelling software
➢ Performed checking and review of vendor documents such as general arrangement
drawings and detailed drawings of vessels, heat exchangers, and air coolers
• Piping Engineering Activities:
➢ Assigned to work on the routing of pipes at south pipe rack area with the use of proper
material and line class of fittings, flanges, instruments and valves using PDS

The aim of the New Graduate Program is to fast-track the learning process of new graduates in order
to integrate to the real “live” projects. Part of the program involves exposure to different disciplines in
order for the candidate to have an overall view of the business as well as to identify the individual’s
core strengths.
The experience is enriched by assigning a coach / subject matter expert providing hands-on guidance
while working on actual projects.
Eligibility to the program has been granted to those who have made it on top 10% of the class and
having successfully passed the Engineers Licensure Exam conducted by the Philippine Professional
Regulatory Commission (PRC). Thus, all candidates in this program are licensed engineers.
