  • My current job since March 2014

Currently working as a HR Administrator in Mouchel Middle East and performing the duties and responsibilities listed below:
• Employee Relations: Assisting the Senior HR Advisor in handling employee queries, visiting project sites with the Senior HR Advisor to ensure that the site staff have appropriate information from time to time on all HR related issues and events happening across the company.

• HR Administration and Operations: E-filling and hard filling of employee files as per the company set format. Following up with the project managers and functional heads on the probationary appraisals of the newly recruited staff. Maintaining and updating database of employee records in the HRIS system of the company. Generating monthly and weekly reports on staff data as requested by the Senior HR Advisor and Regional HR Director. Prepare salary/employment/NOC and other letters/certificates when requested by employees.

• Benefits Administration: Managing addition/deletion of employees in the company medical and group life insurance policy and dealing with the insurance providers on administrative queries. Assisting employees on submitting their claims/addressing their queries in coordination with the Senior HR Advisor.

• Payroll Coordination: Coordinating with the UAE and the UK payroll team during the payroll processing and providing the required information when requested.

• Performance Management Administration: Assisting the Senior HR advisor in preparing the final documentation as a result of the performance review.

• Mobilization/Demobilization and On-boarding: Coordinate with the PROs and Travel coordinators in the respective regions to smoothly mobilize the newly hired on board. Conduct orientation for new joiners from Junior to Mid-level. During the phase of demobilization coordinate with the payroll, travel and PROs team to demobilize staff in a timely and efficient manner.

• Leave Management and Administration: Tracking employees leave records (Annual Vacations/Sick leaves and other leaves taken by the employees during the leave year).

I started my career as a Recruitment Assistant in Mouchel Middle East which provided me useful insights on Recruitment in the Engineering Consultancy Industry in the Middle East. Below is a brief description on duties performed in this role:

• Supported the Resourcing team in screening and short-listing applications.
• Arranged interviews (personal/ call/ Videocon) in coordination with the Hiring Managers and the candidates.
• Posted job openings on company website, once approved by the respective hierarchy.
• Prepared and sent offer/employment contracts to the selected candidates after acquiring necessary approvals.
• Maintained and updated Talentlink (ATS System) and the Recruitment database with all recruitment activities.
• Coordinated with the Mobility coordinator about the offer acceptance and client approval of the candidates in order to proceed with the mobilization process.
• Prepared and sent various resourcing reports to the Resourcing Manager on weekly/monthly basis and other Ad-hoc reports as requested.
• Provided training to new hiring managers/current hiring managers on Talentlink as requested.

I started my career in the Middle East working for CITISCAPE as a HR assistant and this gave me a great opportunity to learn various aspects of Human Resource Management in the Middle East, below listed are duties and responsibilities undertaken:

• Recruitment and Selection: Responsible for Recruiting construction professionals across all levels for UAE, QATAR and KSA. Responsible for working with the departmental managers and the functional heads to keep abreast with the upcoming manpower requirements of the projects and the departments. • Mobilization/On-boarding: Coordinated with the candidate and the PRO on the visa documentation. Handled the Orientation and Joining.

• HR Administration and Operations: Conducted the probationary appraisal of the employees in coordination with the department Head according to the company’s prescribed policies and procedures. Handled the routine HR operational work during the absence of designated HR Professional. Preparing and generating Monthly HR Reports as advised by the HR Manager.

• Training and Development: Coordinated with the ISO Team of the company for conducting the ISO training for the employees. Coordinated with the external training institutes. Maintained and updated the training database of the employees on regular basis.

HUMAN RESOURCE ASSOCIATE at CLUB MAHINDRA EMERALD PALMS-Goa

• Recruitment and Selection: Coordinated with various departments on job requirements across all the levels in the company. Sourced candidates through print media posting, through Hotel management institutes and through the various networks. Screened the CVs and shortlisted the candidates for Interviews. Conducted the initial round of interview with the candidates and according coordinated with the departmental managers for the technical round of interviews. Handled the reference checks based on the companies prescribed forms. Negotiated the salary with the selected candidates and preparation of the employment offer.

• Induction and Property tour: Conducted the orientation of the new hires on the company policies and procedures. Coordinated with the training manager for training for the employees on the company grooming standards, telephone etiquettes and customer service skills. Conducted property tour for the employees.

• Employee relations: Employee Grievance handling. Handled the HR Audits from the Internal and External Audit committees. Change Management- During the change of the company from The Retreat by Zuri to Club Mahindra Emerald Palms. Conducted the monthly staff meet for employees: which included the awarding ceremony for Employee of the month, Cost cutting award, birthday celebration and announcing the important highlights of the month. Conducted various other motivational activities for the employees which included indoor and outdoor games. Organized and coordinated the Employee annual Meet held along with other team members at the end of the year.

• Payroll Processing: Compiled and uploaded the attendance data from the attendance software into the payroll software. Updated the payroll data in terms of various deductions, leave tracking system. Entered the new joiners and resigned employments of the month in the system. Preparation of Full and Final settlement of the employees based on the company policies and based on the legal requirements.
