AS FSL Program Manager, I am responsible for setting up and managing the Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) program within my area of responsibility. Align the program with the logical framework of the projects, ensuring strict adherence to budget constraints and compliance with Action Against Hunger's administrative and logistical procedures. I maintain the quality and standards of the projects, following the technical and project management norms set by Action Against Hunger. I familiarize myself with all dimensions of FSL, from issues to indicators, and keep records of contractual programmatic documents, in line with donor regulations and organizational best practices. I actively identify and resolve technical constraints related to project implementation, proposing innovative solutions where needed. Leading by example, I contribute actively to Action Against Hunger’s gender mainstreaming efforts and gender-equitable approach, ensuring these principles are integrated into approved projects in the area. Additionally, I supervise and manage the FSL team, fostering their professional growth and adherence to best practices in performance management. My contribution extends to the quality, accountability, and impact measurement process, where I promote evaluations, learning initiatives, and feedback mechanisms. Furthermore, I participate in strategic deliberations, offering insights into the humanitarian and development situation in Jordan and contributing significantly to the determination and realization of FSL stand-alone and integrated strategies.
I am reviewing all projects documents and previous progress reports to ensure a comprehensive reflection of the projects’ status. I am collecting relevant data and information from various sources, including databases, surveys, and reports. By collaborating with stakeholders, I am agreeing on analytical methods to assess the collected data and information. I am also proposing reporting outlines that adhere to UNDP and donor standards, encompassing the analyzed data, recommendations, and challenges hindering effective implementation. To monitor project performance, I am establishing robust monitoring frameworks. Identifying significant risks, I am proposing comprehensive risk mitigation matrixes to ensure the project's sustainability. Additionally, I am revising project KPIs, implementation modalities, and approaches to align with wider corporate goals and SOPs, offering technical backstopping for quality assurance through periodic data and information quality checks.
As a Livelihoods Officer, I was responsible for providing thorough and timely follow-up on project activities and outcomes, closely tracking progress, and updating all the project cycle management tools. This included preparing progress reports and addressing challenges and lessons learned. I provided technical support for designing innovative business partnerships related to Waste Management and Recycling. I Coordinated with implementing partners, ensuring timely delivery. I have as well, collected and analyzed data, remained updated with regulations and government strategies, and established networks. I have developed TORs and supported consultants selection. Besides, I Identified potential partners and donors. Contributed to women's economic empowerment through concept notes, this included preparing budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying gender-related interventions.
During my time with the IRC, I filled different positons within the ERD program before being promoted to Program Manager in August 2019. As ERD Program Manager, I was responsible for conceptualizing and implementing strategies to foster private sector involvement and engagement of various economic stakeholders such as businesses, cooperatives, government entities, and NGOs. Through my technical and management oversight, I ensured the consistent delivery of high-quality programming aligned with the Outcomes and Evidence Framework. Through smoothly integrating project cycle management tools, while optimizing resources utilization and conducting thorough value-for-money analyses. Additionally, I demonstrated my reporting skills by providing comprehensive donor reports with up-to-date information, and updates on implementation successes and challenges. My expertise also covered developing quality proposal budgets, logical frameworks, and technical narratives to reinforce program sustainability. Monitored ongoing programs, adjusting as necessary, and diligently tracked indicators, while implementing corrective measures when required. Moreover, I have actively supported staff in identifying and pursuing opportunities for technical knowledge and skills enhancement. Also, I conducted partner mapping activities, identified gaps and opportunities within the program, and actively fostered partnerships, collaborations, and coordination with regional and national economic actors.
As an SMEs field Advisor, I provided comprehensive consultancy advice, including business idea development, feasibility studies, and legal guidance. I facilitated connections with government institutions to support business expansion. I offered financial advice, conducted mini-training sessions, organized seminars, and invited guest speakers to promote awareness of emerging opportunities. Furthermore, I developed referral training programs and initiated an internship program to equip new investors and graduates with essential skills for success in the business world.
As a Nutritional and Quality Engineer, I supervised food production lines, ensuring product quality and adherence to specifications. With a team, I oversaw workers' schedules, vacations, and work tasks, emphasizing quality and validity. My responsibilities included quality assurance, preparing production reports, and conducting product sampling to meet high standards of processing orders.
