● Providing support in the preparation of Road Safety Audits including collision investigation and prevention (CIP) solutions.
● To ensure traffic diversions comply with Qatar Work Zone Traffic Management Guide and related procedures.
● Ensure Road Safety Audits are conducted and recommended actions are closed out accordingly to Client satisfaction and by Ashghal RSA guidelines.
● Participate in Road safety audit Stage 4 Pre-Opening Audits for temporary/Beneficial Use/Permanent Works.
● Preparing reports and presentations on road safety issues and recommend accident preventions remedial schemes throughout the project.
● Work closely with stakeholders including Supervising Consultant, PMC, and MOI Traffic Police, and Ashghal TDP office for approvals.
● Review the TDP
● Implementation and management of Traffic Management Plans by approved Traffic Management Drawings
● Traffic Volume count
● Supervise temporary traffic management on site.
● Establishment, removal, and alteration of temporary traffic management measures in case of Emergency
● Coordination with Traffic Management team & Road Safety Engineer for all site-related issues
● Accidents reporting and assistance to Traffic Police in emergency
● Ensure that site personals are adequately trained on the basic elements of temporary traffic management as per QWZTMG
● Conducting Safety Awareness Meeting to new people, i.e., Equipment operators, Drivers, and Labors, etc.,
● Responsible for handling Traffic Management and Traffic Safety related responsibilities
● Involved in accident reporting and assistance to Traffic Police during incidents.
● Contribute to the establishment, removal, and alteration of temporary traffic management measures during emergencies.
● Coordination with other safety officers and survey team for preparation of as-built data for Traffic Management Plans
● Liaise with Client, Consultant, Sub Contractors, and Local Authorities
● Contribute significantly to conduct an internal audit and implement audit findings
● Monitor Traffic movements around the Work Zone.
