My chief functions are:

• Member of the Executive Committee of the company. Directly reporting to the CEO/President of the company.
• Select a Project Manager and Project Engineer to be assigned for the newly awarded project/s.
• Discuss with the PMs and PEs the deliverables, timeline, important milestones, long-lead materials for each project assigned to them.
• Identify the stakeholders in their assigned project, and understand their level of involvement to the project.
• Oversee the PMs regarding their selection of vendors, ordering of materials needed for the initial phase of construction, and monitor the status of procurement of long-lead materials. Ensure they have prepared these critical resources within the timeline provided based on Gantt Charts.
• Monitor the PMs regarding their status of preparation of documents necessary for the application of LGU permits. Assist the PM by coordinating with other Division Heads like Engineering and Finance to expedite the preparation of pertinent documents / payments.
• Monitor the status of Landlord’s approval to access the site to start construction. Assist the PM secure documentation needed to comply to Landlord’s requirements.
• Randomly visits all on going sites. Check status of site in terms of Safety and Orderliness. Observes the progress of work, and discuss with the site team the areas where improvement of quality of works are needed.
• Monitor project progress by use of gantt chart. Call the attention of PMs if progress starts to slip down from planned progress. Discuss the areas with difficulties and give recommendations / proposed solutions in order to catch up with the schedule.
• Attends meeting with the Client to help the PM mitigate the issues in the project especially with regards to timeline.
• Provides leadership, mentoring by way of short lectures or short meetings, inspire my teammates by supporting them what they need at site in order to finish the work within their timelines, and motivates them especially when encountering difficult challenges.
• Closely coordinating with division heads of support teams like procurement, logistics, and supply chain for smooth flow of delivery of materials.
• Help develop good working relationship with the Client to maintain trust and confidence to the company.
• Conduct interviews to applicants and selects who’s fit to join the team.
• Presides month-end meeting for the Construction Management Division.

Duties and Responsibilities during Civil Structural Works (4-level Basement of Hotel):

• Reporting to the Construction Manager
• Prepares material requisition for rebars, form work system (DOKA), and book the concrete casting.
• Review plans in advance to prepare required manpower and materials needed for the upcoming activities.
• Prepare schedule of casting of slab. Determine the location of construction joint, and coordinate with rebar engineer for the preparation of Bar Bending Schedule.
• Presides daily morning meetings with site engineers, MEPF and logistics team to discuss site work updates and target accomplishments for the week. Collect information for MEPF team with regards to their critical areas of works to be prioritized,
• Coordinate with Engineering Team for drawing updates, Responded Request for Information, and Approved Variation Orders.
• Coordinate with Quality Control Team for the regular site work inspections with Consultants and Method Statements for upcoming activities.
