Preparing pipeline route, plan and profile, alignment sheet.
Preparing overall pipeline layout and facility plot plan.
Preparing Scraper Launcher and Receiver facilities.

Plan and implement of project requirements to meet the schedule and budget.
Technically and administratively manage the project team (engineers, designers and draftsmen); Schedule tasks to meet project deadlines, and supervise and review the work of Engineers, Senior Designers and Designers.
Ensure that all discipline staff under my supervision are working to the project procedures, specifications and standards and to good engineering practices and techniques and any project-specific requirements.
Co-ordinate with client engineers on Pipeline engineering issues; Co-ordinate with clients, subcontractors and/or suppliers, as applicable.
Provide discipline inputs to proposals - prepare man-hour estimates and execution strategy papers.
Mentor less-experienced personnel.

Description of the project: Front End Engineering Design, material procurement specification preparation for the 220 kilometer long 20” QH-1 refined product pipeline. Include as a part of this project are 20”/16” scraper launcher with scraper isolation valves at Qassim Bulk Plant with all facilities, 16”, 220 km, API 5L Gr. X60, class
Preparation of valves technical bid evaluation (TBE) based on Catalogue Management Tool Version 5.0 (Shell Global Solution International) and in accordance with Project Specification and Code ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4 & ASME B31.8.
Attend technical clarification meeting for technical evaluation of valves and bulk materials.
Preparation of material take-off (MTO) and Purchase Requisition for manual valve and bulk materials.
Checking isometric drawings using PDMS.
Checking isometric drawings (Issued for Construction).
Preparing pipe support detail drawings (Issued for Construction).
Coordinating with the Lead Engineer & Project Management Team in terms of site technical queries (STQ).
Detailed design covers full responsibility in piping layout and checking the design parameters, with reference to P&ID’s, Line list, Piping Class. Dimensional checking including elevations, coordinates and orientation and incorporates final vendor data & drawings.
