Responsibilities:
HR Management:
• Manage overall HR operations of the company including all aspects of recruitment, employee engagement, coordination for staff training programs, performance management, benefits, compensation and exit process.
• Establish and implement annual HR objectives, budget and programs in line with the College’s strategic plan; render strategic HR advice to the College’s senior and line management.
• Lead the entire recruitment cycle, conduct interviews, onboard new employees, prepare employment contracts and ensure all pre-employment checks, handle employee termination procedure as well as conduct exit interviews.
• Develop training and career development plans for UAE Nationals.
• Provide a fair opportunity for academic staff to pursue their research within the limits of the resources (internal and external) at a department’s disposal.
• Administer the development and implementation of performance management system, performance appraisal program and provide advice and recommendations to management and staff.
• Manage the appointment, performance and development review, grading, oversee the advancement and promotion of staff in line with ECAE’s policies and procedures.
Facilities Management:
• Lead and manage the Facilities Management Department for maintaining all ECAE property/assets and ensure that procurement processes and decisions meet ECAE’s needs and guarantee the most efficient use of public money.
• Prepare the annual development plan for the facility management division, prepare the budget for contracts and small projects and manage all facilities operations to ensure the smooth running of operations at the facility.
• Administer procurement and fiscal management activities including RFPs and contracts, monitor spending on projects, recommend and implement corrective spending plans.
• Lead the team to deliver effective asset and property management including health &safety services to the college.
• Oversee the work of external contractors to ensure terms of agreements are met and work is completed satisfactorily.
