• Oversee Dragon Oil’s participation in various salary surveys to obtain up-to-date market salary data from various sources
• Review the analysis on salary survey results in order to determine whether any adjustments to the salary scales need to be made.
• Execute various C&B rewards projects including annual performance bonus and salary review.
• Oversee the manpower budget and control the cost throughout the year.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of job descriptions.
• Advise managers and employees on compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper administration of medical and life insurance benefit, with special attention to joiners and leavers.
• Liaise with Information Technology to integrate all C&B activities into HRMS -Oracle and to ensure proper functioning of system.
• End of service benefits- calculation should be verified according to labour law and policy
• Provide advice on the resolution of classification and salary complaints.
• Oversee various employee relations actions, such as, warning letters, terminations, grievances and investigations.
• Review Confirmations and probation period evaluation
• Oversee payroll process : Supervise and coordinate payroll activities
• Check and control HR & Payroll database and manual personnel files, ensuring accurate records are held and changes are made in time for the monthly payroll.
• Ensure that all deductions and additional payments transactions (including increments and bonuses) are accurately applied to the salaries in a timely manner
• Reconciling of payroll payments/taxes/accounts with Finance on monthly basis
• Propose and execute studies for employee benefits, new policies or changes/amendments on current polices (related to benefits)
• Carry out customary supervisory responsibilities such as coaching and training C&B employees
• Coach and train employees in order to build their knowledge and skills.
• Manage & execute the bank’s monthly payroll.
• Ensure calculations of gross to reach the net payments of expenses related to relocation and expatriation.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of the payroll accounts and monitor the administration and reconciliation of HR records and databases.
• Ensure that staff benefits and allowances is according to the employee’s entitlement.
• Control the staff prepaid and accruals such as pensions, airfare, bonuses etc. on monthly basis
• Prepare the annual performance bonus and salary review reports for management.
• Provide effective and timely support and advice to employees and management and any other employee related matters.
