Partnering with aftersales and marketing team to define and lead spare parts supply chain strategy.
Overall transparency on demand & supply chain - provide the sales team with the information of supply constraint in advance to alter weekly sell-in to trade plan.
Ensure the analysis of demand trend & correct the forecasting error to minimize the planning error at the chain. Take proactive decisions to minimize stock outs and improve first pick for spare parts operation
Provide information on end of life & replacement models to sales team, led to necessary changes are adopted at S&OP tool. Proper action plans develop to liquidate stocks and minimize provisions
Provide data, schedule and conduct customer-specific demand consensus meetings with sales to gain organizational alignment. Based on this, shares supply visibility/information with main stakeholder.
Provide guidance on new launches: Main KPI, Forecasting Accuracy and Stock coverage.
Technical support to sales team in developing sales organizer and special programs
Analyse the sell thru plan submitted by the Regional Sales Manager, considering sales trends and other sales inputs like service campaigns, seasonal campaigns, schemes, AMC etc.
Detailed product parts catalogue study and recommended parts list creation with inventory plan
In charge of end to end logistics activities for 20+ manufactures around the globe (Sea/road/air)
A key driver in the supply chain strategy formulation of AlMailem spare parts division
Rationalize the financial objectives of procurement and derive KRAs
Sourcing the right aftermarket products from US, Japan, China, Taiwan etc correlated with the management strategies & policies
Order management to keep optimum inventory by minimizing the case of stock outs and excess stocks correlated to sales in the best STO achievable.
Inventory forecast preparation and control based on receipts and sales volume
Product management activities right from brand development activities, technical training to concerned teams & develop special programs for sales operations.
Comprehensive data analysis and develop action plans to control stock aging by timely liquidation and avoid provisioning in an ERP integrated channel
Ad hoc reports to management when are where required.
Working knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts to implement Kaizen
Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely
Monitor a cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment
Lead in implementing lean operation across business processes
Ordering the parts for prototype building.
Internal stock transfers
Vehicle capitalization for R&D requirement
Import and local part follow up
Dispatch parts to supplier for R&D purposes
Follow ups from ordering to the part receipt at R&D store.
Adhere 5S and other lean principles in warehouse.
Inventory monitoring and control
