Receive the procurement requests for goods/services to initiate the procurement process
• Obtain bidders from supplier and perform preliminary evaluation of quotations, bids and
proposals.
• Challenge the technical evaluation criteria to be aligned with the scope of work, prepare bidders
list recommendations for management approval.
• Handle and coordinate all correspondences between bidders and end users including but not
limited to issuing tender bulletins and clarifications requests.
• Contribute to the negotiations of terms and prices as required.
• Issue the purchase order for the selected approved tender.
• Review requisitions, past purchases, inventories, quantities, specification requirements and
other documents that affect the quality of quotations.
• Maintains contact with vendors regarding orders and new products, and coordinates purchasing
with vendors.
• Sourcing a different local suppliers for a new materials
• Hand over all registration process of the new suppliers in the system
• Communicate with suppliers to insure that they are registered as per companies policy.
• Establish the contracts & agreements (long term) with the suppliers
• Coordinate / expedite with the vendors for appropriate action and receiving the claims in case of
materials damage.
• Buying stationery, F&B and publications catalogues by raising budgetary POs and ad hoc PRs.
• Sourcing of products & services upon receipt of a clear specification from the user.
• Provide effective strategic leadership and professional guidance and ensure the discharge of all
relevant statutory responsibilities relating to Procurement functions.
• Implement changes within the Department in response to the agenda so that there is a constant
generation of revenue.
• Identify, develop and evaluate procurement strategy, based on knowledge of establishment
objectives, companies’ characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
• Accurate updates on procurement activity (Activity Tracker)
• Develop bid enquiry packages for goods & services in cooperation with design & operations
teams.
• Handling the payments of purchased materials and following up with vendors to insure that they
received the accurate payment
• Formulate, direct and coordinate various operational activities and policies to promote products
and services, working with senior managers.
• Ensure financial and strategic objectives of the Company are maintained at all times.
• Prepare the monthly reports on procurement process & activates, inventory control, shipping
and receiving. to the line manager.
• Handling several projects like (DAS, ASAB, SAHIL & SHAH) of many government sectors (
ADNOC, TAKREER, ZADCO ...etc) and work to satisfy our customers
