is a global humanitarian organization which originated in France and is committed to ending world hunger. The organization helps malnourished children and provides communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger.
In 2014, Action Against Hunger worked in 49 different countries around the world with more than 6, 000 employees and volunteers helping 13.6 million people in need.
The main Responsibilities :
Objective 1 : Collect information and data
- Carry out household surveys
- Ensure coherence of collected information
- Report any problems and constraints and complaints
- Vulnerability identification of beneficiaries
- Propose possible improvements
Objective 2 : Carry out assessment activities
- Identify local capacities in the villages ( Key person )
- Apply the defined methodologies (development, duration, number of participants etc. )
- Keep Supervisor informed of the activities, problems and success
- Collection of households data at field level
- Propose possible improvements .
Objective 3 : Assistance distribution and follow-up activities
- Assistance at projects distribution events as planned and requested by the supervisor
- Follow-Up and monitoring of the projects impact.
I worked as compliance Assistant in Danish Refugee Council for GIZ project, Field assessments for UNHCR project, also I worked six months Data Entry, and I hold info sessions for beneficiaries.
The main Responsibilities :
•Collect all complaints (verbally and in written format) from individuals engaged in CfW programming and/ or have received job referrals by DRC, including complaints around work conditions and contractual matters (when relevant), etc.;
• Ensure efficient referral of complaints to the responsible party, such as GIZ and/or the municipality and follow up in a timely manner to ensure appropriate actions are taken;
• Maintain clear tracking procedures for each case, including who it was referred to and action taken (if any);
• Hold regular open office hours where individuals may come in person to raise concerns about job placements or workplace concerns;
• Maintain clear communication with the DRC Accountability Officer based in Amman to ensure that complaints about the placement process completed by DRC or other services from DRC are referred to the DRC Complaints Response
Mechanism.
• Upon being trained, ensure beneficiaries have access to information about their legal rights in the workplace.
• Remembering confidentiality, analyze patterns and trends in complaints and feedback to help DRC improve its programming and partnerships with various employers.
During my work in DRC as compliance assistant, I worked as Receptionist for six months, participated in various workshops, supported Protection Unit in holding counseling sessions in CBO`s to identify DRC activities, doing field assesments for UNHCR project .
I trained in Technical support department for three months in data analysis, collection, and how to fix problems.
