Responsible for creating a welcoming environment for clients and for providing them with a
range of hairdressing, beauty and salon services.
- Ensuring enough time is allocated for a customer’s appointment to look after them.
- Only offering customers the product or services that meet their precise needs.
- Determining the budget for the salon and then working hard not to go over it.
- At the end of the working day ensuring that receipts exist for all salon sales.
- Booking customers in for appointments in the diary & also on the computer system.
- Involved in the hiring, training and mentoring of every single salon staff member.
- Making sure the salon environment is welcoming and ready to receive customers.
- Balancing the petty cash at the end of a shift and investigating any discrepancies.
- Disciplining staff who are disruptive, late for work or rude to customers.
- Sweeping away the hair between customer appointments, cleaning sinks, washing
Shampoo pads and setting perm trays.
