Responsible for planning and managing operations of the plant related to compressor / dryer services as per contracts, projects, fixed price, warranties. (GA (Size 1, Size 2), ZT/ZR, CD/BD, FD/FX) (Rotating / Reciprocating equipment's).
Acting as first point of contact to customers and supporting customers by providing product, service information, resolving product and service issues.
Managing vendors / suppliers for local services as per business needs, verifying and validating quotations as well as negotiating to get the services within the price.
Forecasting & Reporting monthly service sales report to the operations manager as per monthly Forecast.
Responsible for meeting the KPI’s of the service plant.
Executing Cross border jobs as per the request of AC entities and exchanging the rates related to work execution (Labor rates, and Miscellaneous cost) (Executed jobs for Germany, UAE, Bahrain)
Attending weekly meetings with operations manager to update the status of jobs and KPI’s.
Diverting leads to sales engineers as per the recommendations and customer requests.
Managing branch related costs booked under work orders and responsible for positive service variance.
Managing labor productivity, travel ratio related to branch.
Responsible for meeting the fixed price invoice targets as per the forecast.
Contributing for the OI targets by diverting the leads recommended by FST and customer requests.
Supporting sales engineers in customer related queries and spare parts ordering information.
Reviewing PM contracts status and monitoring GP.
Monitoring WIP above 90days and taking actions to inform the concerned parties.
Sending completed jobs for closing to invoice and if GP is low, providing technical reasons for cost related information as per IQ.
Exchanging the financial reports related to Fixed price jobs sales done to the Operations Manager and sales manager.
Escalating wrong parts order information to the contracts team for re-order and change in CPQ.
Completing all the NCR which is raised every month.
Monitoring and planning the received material from Main warehouse and allocating as per work order needs.
Supporting customers related to the sectors, oil & gas, food & beverage, manufacturing, packaging by providing compressed air related equipment services.
Supporting project manager to create the necessary drawings for customized parts and providing solutions.

LV & MV Switchgear new & retrofit panel design using Autodesk-Inventor, Auto-CAD.
Locker cabinets, Enclosures design.
GE Frame 5B 6, 6B Exhaust Plenum & Transition duct liner plate’s retrofit design for Gas Turbines

Designing Schneider Electric - Equipment & Products as per the Customer requirements.
Providing technical support from launching to installation and commissioning of projects.
Attending project meetings with project manager from launching to FAT.
Designing components & Assemblies of products and equipment’s using Auto Cad, Inventor & Pro-E Wildfire 5, and Creo 2.0.
Preparation and issuance of fabrication file which includes detail drawings and specifications for product manufacturing.
Working with supply chain parallelly in segregating long lead materials & ordering.
Releasing & maintaining documents as per ISO standards.
Bill of material creation using SAP master data management.
Working on the Core Updates and preparing the local Market specification for the Products & Equipment’s.
Performing Design FMEA for the defects rising on the shop floor as well as at site.
Taking part in new product development and design validation.
Participating in SIM meetings for enquires about projects.
Handling work independently form project to project and providing the designs, Ordering Bill of Material as per electrical department request.
Resolving issues rise in standard production and provide nonstandard based solutions.
Aiding the shop floor team leaders in attaining continuous work flow and avoiding bottlenecks and assisting junior as well as senior engineers in regular work.
Releasing production order for fabrication of parts and providing routing for metal parts fabrication.
Visiting sites for resolving technical related issues.
Develop adaptation to meet the local needs of the market.
Standardization of mechanical parts and maintaining project records.
Sharing Knowledge with team members.
Performing 5S checking’s every day for all the team.

Additional Responsibilities:

Takes part in methods routing process whenever there is a requirement.
Support in analyzing the material flow of the fabricated parts & releasing the production order through SAP output.
Actively participate in yearly cycle counts and providing support in excess stock identification in warehouse hub for every quarter.
Posting material requirements to the purchasing department.

Relationships:

Internal - Working in close relation with electrical design, methods engineers, production & Supply chain.
External - Coordinate with customer when required by project manager.

Modeling components using ANSYS design modeler, Inventor 3D and submitting to the analysis team according to customer requirements.
Performing static linear, non-linear and thermal analysis using ANSYS workbench.
Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
Responsible for supporting senior level designers in handling complex design process
Responsible for reviewing and modifying drawings under instructions of senior CAD design engineer
To read and work from sketches and blue prints.
Report generation using mechanical APDL
Maintaining professional and service oriented relationships with customers and co-workers
Maintain project records.
