1) Assist in compiling the background documents for presentations to the APPC and APPB.

6) Preparing and maintaining personnel records including those pertaining to contracts, leave, and accommodation, ensuring accuracy of staff lists and personnel data records; Assist the Administrative/Personnel staff in the field/sub offices on routine matters related to Personnel Administration tasks. Prepare and update databases/spreadsheets on contractual status, performance appraisals and other reporting requirements.
7) Preparation of all relevant paperwork including personnel action, in respect of contractual status and entitlements such as dependency allowance, language allowance, home leave, repatriation grant, etc. Preparation of all documentation and letters related to reassignment.
8) Checks monthly duty status summary to control staff members eligibility for salary payment; takes action for issuance/renewal of laissez-passer of international staff; ensure timely submission of travel claims; handles medical evacuation cases and related claims; maintains and controls records for annual, sick and maternity leave and special leave and prepares related personnel actions; prepares payroll/clearance action on separation and all relevant correspondence and administrative action; answers, as far as possible, oral queries of staff in respect of their entitlements under relevant Staff Rules and Regulations.
9) Entering Medical claims of TA-Staff in the PeopleSoft system (Oracle based ERP).
10) Liaising with Headquarters on personnel administration matters.
11) Taking regular monitoring missions to offices to assist on human resources related tasks including coaching and training of local staff.
12) Arranges travel and hotel reservations.
13) Serve as secretary to the Sub-Office Training Committee and ensure the implementation of the training plan.
14) Performs other duties as required.
