As a Senior Project Manager-Design, Ahmed led a team of designers and collaborated with clients to achieve the strategic vision aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.The project features the worlds longest linear park, spanning 135 kilometres. It connects Wadi Hanifah in the western part of Riyadh to Wadi Al Sulai in the east. Notable elements include 50 sports facilities, 220 kilometres of cycling paths, 135 kilometres of walking and running trails, and 134 kilometres of equestrian tracks.Additionally, the project establishes a continuous green corridor, incorporating zoning based on context characteristics and demographic surveys.Ahmed played a crucial role in defining scope, objectives, and deliverables, collaborating closely with architects, urban planners, and landscape designers to shape the Sports Boulevards layout and green spaces.The design has ensured consideration and implementation of sustainable design practise as per international standards and global benching marking.
Lahore Time Square Master Plan - Lahore, Pakistan
Ahmed has fulfilled the role of a project manager for the Lahore Times Square Master Plan Development, which is a significant urban development project situated in Lahore, Pakistan. The MP spans an impressive 1, 100, 000 square meters (approximately 10.75 million square feet). Its purpose is to establish a new hub for shopping, entertainment, and residential activities within the city. This dynamic district will cater to diverse needs, offering a blend of commercial spaces, recreational areas, and housing options. As a Project Manager overseeing the project, Ahmed has helped strategizing, phasing, and briefing about the project part of the consultant’s selection process. He also led the design team in creating detailed plans for the district, considering feasibility statics and requirements. Ahmed also helped preparing a documentation programme and indicative construction programme, review and evaluates design and outline specification and exercise cost control, tender invitations, tenders evaluation, and facilitate answering all bidders’ queries.
Private White labelled Island Resort - Abu Dhabi, UAE
In his role as a Design Manager and Client Advisor, meticulously prepared and presented the design pre-concept to the ultimate client for approval. This pre- concept encompassed a comprehensive list of assets, including a Multi- purpose Sports Hall, Private Mansions, a Helipad, Marina Work, Marine Enhancement, Hill Formation, Majlis (a traditional gathering space), Back-of- House Facilities, and Staff Accommodation. Ahmed ensured that the subsequent phases—Design Development, Technical Design, and Detailed Design—were meticulously executed in alignment with the project brief and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ahmed, in his capacity as a Team Leader and Department Manager, successfully spearheaded a team to tackle intricate various whitespace and refurbishment projects within various landlords’ assets. These endeavours unfolded within a 24/7 live operational environment characterized by stringent security protocols. Notably, Ahmed represented major developers in the United Arab Emirates, including Omniyat, Shamal, and Emaar. His leadership and expertise played a pivotal role in navigating these challenging ventures.
Jumierah Beach Hotel Refurbishment - Dubai, UAE
Ahmed, in his role as a Project Manager, played a crucial role in devising a strategic roadmap. This roadmap enabled the client to efficiently oversee the delivery of a refurbished hotel within an ambitious 6-month timeline for each phase, with total of 2 phases, including façade, arrival experience, and landscape and traffic mitigation package. His approach involved implementing a well-thought-out procurement route and carefully phasing various activities. As a result, the project achieved seamless operations with minimal disruption to the facility and the client’s on-going operations.

As a Technical Engineer, Ahmed has been part of the design coordination, including assurance of obtaining approvals and facilitating site works required information and contributes technical expertise to enhance project quality and efficiency.
