Distributed my time amongst 3 divisions of OHI:
IT department: Where I received hands on experience working with networks and servers.
Wed Design: Where I learned all about the step-by-step process of making a website, from the initial design to the final implementation.
SSL: Where I worked with a team that was in charge of developing software for clients, and it's here where I picked up knowledge concerning the software development process.
A full report of my intern experience was requested by the university upon completion, and the report was later received acknowledgment and posted on the university's' e-learning website as a reference for future students to follow. Was given a brief overview of the design aspects & the production and planning that went on in the factory.
Throughout the two months spent at the factory, I spent most of my time receiving hands-on experience on all the workstations on the workshop (except for the welding station), where I learned how to work each machine that will perform the cutting, shaping, bending, painting of the steel components. And was later moved to the assembly where I learned how to install the electrical components into the switchgear.
Summer training at McDonalds where I worked in all the different areas of the kitchen, handled the drive-thru and personally interacted with customers.
> Performed internship for 30 days at different divisions of OHI (IT department, Web Design & SSL), and received special acknowledgment for the corresponding report that I wrote. Which was later put on the university's' e-learning website as an example for future students to follow. > Was recorded during the presentation of my graduation project to be aired later on the local television network.
Received many awards in the different science subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry) from early middle school to the end of high school. Was chosen to represent Myanmar at the Model United Nations that was held in The Sultan School in 2006-2007. Upon graduating from high school, was given a full scholarship to attend the Engineering college in the Sultan Qaboos University, which I respectfully declined in order to travel abroad.
