 Analyzing and reviewing any changes in design scope,
budget, schedule and recommending subsequent
alternations in preceding documents.
 Calculations of executed quantities as per approved plans
and construction drawings.
 Assisting the design team for quality assurance and
compliance with employer’s requirement, local and
international codes, regulations, design guidelines and
international standards of independent firms.
 Supervises Construction inspectors, ensuring that test and
inspections are performed, witnessed and documented in
accordance with approved project quality plan.
 Review and comment the contractor’s submittals,
technical queries, field change document
 Reviews of Design Drawings, Vendor Drawings, Shop
Drawings, and installation sequences.
 Reviews contractors Nonconformance Report (NCRs),
Request for Information (RFIs), Field Change Request
(FCRs), or other change documents prior to elevating to
senior construction engineer / Construction Manager.
 Ensures that RFI responses and Field Change requests etc.
are correctly implemented in the Field.
 Attend daily / weekly coordination and progress meetings
with Employer and Contractor.
 Collaborates and compiles daily reports for submission to
the senior construction engineer / construction manager.
 Maintains first level of quality assurance to confirm that
the installation of work is in accordance with the plans,
specifications and industry standards.
 Collaborates with construction management to eliminate
any hazards associated with work that may adversely
affect the environment or safety of staff.
 Checking the quality of materials used in construction
according to the design specification.
 Supervising, monitoring the Works, as per the Contractual
Stipulations and specifications.
 Reviewing contractor’s Method statement incompliance
with project specifications.
 Monitoring of construction activities to ensure they are
completed as per approved quality plan, ITPs, procedures
and the latest IFC drawings.
 Inspecting incoming materials pertaining to ongoing
activities and Prepares reports in case of non- conforming
material, absence of test certificates, and damages if any.
 Providing technical assistance to the Site Engineer,
Superintendent, Managers and keeps them informed on
matters relating to civil, architectural and interfacing
works with other trades.

 Geometric Design of Roads and Tunnels (Horizontal
Alignment, Vertical Alignment / Profile, Cross Section,
Super Elevations, Earthworks, Calculations of cut and fill,
Site Grading).
 Estimation of quantities and material takeoffs of the field
purchases of materials submitted to consultant for
approval.
 Monitors and executing construction activities to ensure
work is performed as per the IFC drawings, Method
Statements and other governing documents, in a safe and
compliant manner.
 Familiar with Standards (ASTM, ACI, and AASHTO,
British Code), specifications and codes as applicable to
infrastructure work.
 Collaborates and compiles daily reports for submission to
the senior Construction engineer / construction manager.
 Ensure project documents are complete, current, and
stored appropriately.
 Directing implementation staff for work execution to
achieve the safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
 Ensure all construction activities are performed safely, as
per the stipulated ES&H processes and procedures.
 Maintain a zero-accident policy on site with the consultant
through regular participation in the clients' ES&H
programs and undertaking regular audits on site.
 Monitors and escalates quality, safety, progress and
coordination issues and concerns.
 Ensure to comply with required permits and licenses are
in place prior to the start of works at site.
 Submission of Design Drawings, Vendor Drawings, Shop
Drawings, and installation sequences / Method of
Statement of desired Works.
 Issuing RFIs, FCNs, or other change documents according
to the instruction of senior engineer / construction
manager.
 Directing field staff for implementation of RFI responses
and Field Change.
 Preparing daily, weekly and monthly progress report for
consultant.
 Assist the seniors in project coordination meetings with
consultants for progress, technical issues/problems at site
and safety etc.
 Coordination with all Stakeholders to negotiate
environmental and land use permits, traffic management,
diversions, and any others, when required.
 Ensuring that civil work is carried out in accordance with
requirement of contract documents. Checking and
reviewing shop drawings, site daily dairy, WIR, Material
Submittal & Method Statement,
