Responsibilities :
1- Project manager engineer responsible for planning, construction, management of the finishing and engineering projects
2- Study & Analysis All Architectural & MEP Drawings & bill of quantities for projects .
3- Prepare a time line schedule for each project according to the given period and required tasks .
4- Coordinate between Above ceiling Services by preparing a coordination shop drawings of the MEP trades such as sheet metal duct work, piping, plumbing, fire protection, Gas, and electrical .
5- Responsible for Architectural drawings which used by architects and others for a number of purposes also to communicate ideas and concepts, to convince clients of the merits of a design, and these drawings can be used as a record of the design, or to make a record of a building that already exists ( As build drawings )
6- Quality control and responsible of approvals for all finishing materials installed in the projects
7- Overseeing work by checking following things on site everyday :
a- Site condition ( clean, safe, arranged, water and electricity supply, etc… )
b-Attendance of manpower ( should be according to the scheduled attendance with the forman one day before )
c- All requirements to install certain material or item, also making sure that the materials are enough for the required task
d- Quality checking for the daily installed items
e- Subcontractors work is arranged and ready for them to start next step/phase
f- testing and commissioning for any new Electro-mechanical items installed ( AC units, Firefighting systems, cameras, speakers, Security systems, etc … )
g- keep clients aware and reported about the site progress
8- Coordinating manpower resources to make sure that there are enough workers to finish the required task/work in the specified timeline schedule
9- Checking labors resources productivity and efficiency by picking the suitable persons for the needed job ( taking these decisions after meeting and dealing with the labors on a daily bases to check each one work and take reports from the site team leaders and formans about every labor)
10- Procurement and delivery of materials required for site work (picking and choosing the suitable materials for site by checking the quality and manufacturer ) as per specification and Bill of quantity
11- Planning and executing site work programs by preparing a time schedule for material delivery to site andprepare required arrangements for continuity of work
12- manage and attend meetings with different parties ( owner, contractors, suppliers ... etc ) to finish any missing dissensions or requirements or handover meetings
13- Prepare and finish all requirements on site for building inspections by local authoritiesto get the required license to operate and open the project according to the local regulations like KFD (Kuwait Fire Service Directorate), Kuwait municipality and MEW ( Ministry of Electricity & Water)
14- Agreements, deals & details of payment methods with subcontractor according to the given offers by them
15- Pricing and budgeting for new projects and get the final deals from the material suppliers and subcontractors after negotiations depending on the tender requirements, specifications and BOQ ( Bill Of Quantities )
Responsibilities :
1- Interpreting architectural, detail, Civil & MEP ( Electrical, HVAC, plumbing ) drawings and specifications, by studying and analyzing all the data and give a summary/Outlines of the required tasks, details and references for the working teams, contractors and suppliers
2- MEP services coordinator to study and draw the requirements of each type of MEP work
3- Responsible for architectural, details and coordination shop drawings .
4- Manage manpower for site daily work to cover all the required tasks and duties by coordinating labors work and give a list of required work to the site formans to distribute tasks
5- Overseeing site work during the day, divide the working day into three parts
*Part 1 : Morning checking to distribute all work according to the daily tasks given to the site formans
*Part2 : During the day to follow the work progress and quality
*Part3 : End of the day to make sure that the daily tasks are done properly and prepare for next day tasks .
6- Check all materials quantities, quality and specifications to get the required approval before making the procurement order, then check material delivery to site .
7- Site, project and coordinator engineer responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating of handover projects ( construction, finishing and engineering projects ) .
8- Meetings with owners ( for progress of the work and handover ), contractors ( to insure that work is going according to the timeline schedule and required quality ), Consultants ( for materials approvals, drawings review and clarification and timeline schedule following up and updating ) and all others Engineering Professionals ( for required coordination to make sure that site work is going without any obstacles ) .
9- Running and following coordinated work programs for site by following with working teams and subcontractors for their progress of work .
10- Attending for building checking/examination by local authorities to get all the required license to operate and open the project according to the local regulations like KFD (Kuwait Fire Service Directorate), Kuwait municipality and MEW ( Ministry of Electricity & Water )
11- Prepare all subcontractors payments and final coasts according to the used materials and labors on site .
