With their flagship office in the DIFC, Huxley Associates has established a strong presence in the GCC offering contract and permanent hiring across the MENA region.
• Worked within permanent and contract hiring during my year at Huxley Associates as a part of the banking technology team and later as a part of Huxley IT.
• Specialized in sourcing and placing mid to senior level candidates within banking and IT across the GCC.
• Experience in business development and building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in organizations across various industries.
• Vertical market expert within core banking systems, responsible for mapping out the core banking systems being used by banks across the GCC.
• Carried out market research on emerging IT trends in the region such as Big Data, Data Science, and Digital Marketing by meeting with professionals within the market and to build a network of relevant candidates with niche skill sets.
• Placed a Data Architect for a leading telecom provider along with working on multiple Data Scientist and Big Data Architect roles for key clients.
• Overall knowledge of the IT market in the GCC, having worked on multiple roles in different IT domains such as IT Security, IT Infrastructure, Project Management, Web Development and Data Analytics to name a few.
Examples of roles I have sourced for and successfully placed: Digital Marketing Manager for a leading bank in Saudi Arabia, E-Discovery Associate for one of the Big 4 in the UAE, Information Security Consultant (contracting role) for a leading telecom provider in the UAE.
A well-known name within the retail space in the Middle East, the Landmark Group encompasses brands such as CityMax Hotels, Fitness First and iCare Clinics amongst others.
• Worked as a Talent Acquisition Intern within TransAct HR, the newly centralized HR function for the Landmark Group.
• Responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for brands such as CityMax Hotels, iCare Clinics and Balance Wellness Spa.
• Responsible for scheduling interviews with shortlisted candidates and brand managers.
• Successfully placed candidates in various roles ranging from junior to mid-level such as F&B Associate, Floor Manager and Talent Acquisition Consultant to name a few.
• Assisted with the administration for on-boarding and mobilization of candidates within Food Mark.
