•Setting a training plan for junior accountants and supervising their progress in work.
•Plan, assign and review staff’s work.
•Back-up month-end duties assigned to other junior accountants.
•Responsible of all bank transactions and monthly reconciliations (6 banks/11 bank accounts).
•Assists in preparation of monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports.
•Assists with annual external audit and completing requested materials.
•Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Analysis of various kinds of financial data and timely preparation of MIS.
Sales analysis, trend analysis and sales MIS.
Participation in Annual Inventory and Reconciliation .
Branch Auditing including surprise checks.
Leave settlement and separation clearances.
Payroll Audit.
Audit of Accounts Receivables & Payables.
Audit of Receipts & Payments.
Preparation of Audit Report including observations and suggestions.
•Follow-up key economic indicators, (Inflation, daily exchange rates).
•Preparation of quarterly reports about the current economic situation in Syria.
•Responsible for maintenance and quoting Inflation indicators in Directorate of Macro Economics, Circle of the Financial Analyses in the commission.
•Follow-up and measurement indicators of the implementation of the tenth five-year plan.
