1) Business Commercial / Financial Success
2) Business Planning
Proactively manage the business based on keen business intelligence, in-depth knowledge of customers and insightful and creative strategic Planning:
-Develop a deep and practical understanding of customer needs within the Region.
-Participate in the development of country, operating plans and budget that meet or exceed the 5 Years Strategic Goals while optimizing TABUK’s position in the local markets and enhancing and/or maintaining its global position.
-Ensure the optimal allocation of resources needed to achieve the goals and objectives of the strategic plan.
-Participate in creation and execution of flexible and adaptive strategic operating plans that incorporate rapid change.
-Prioritize and focus the organization’s direction and energy on those activities that will ensure sustained commercial success.
3) Human Capital Management
-Using performance management, people development, talent planning and other processes to lead, motivate and develop individuals as well as cross-functional and functional teams to increase and capitalize on their potential for achieving results.
-Seek and communicate feedback from the local leadership team concerning organization and for TABUK as a whole.
-Ensure that staff at all levels of the field force is managed within the context of TABUK’s vision, mission, policies & values.
4) External Relationships
-Ensure the development of a broad network of productive relationships with key contacts, local governments, regulatory authorities and agencies and key stakeholders as appropriate.
-Ensure the proactive leverage of these relationships to influence the external environment in ways that optimize:
oTABUK’s local and global interests.
oTABUK’s positioning as a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the MENA region, dedicated to providing the highest quality medicines.
5) Internal Relationships
-Develop and leverage productive internal relationships within Export Department & across other TABUK divisions and its Business Partners in order to:
oDrive business results
oExchange knowledge and best practices
oCollaborate and contribute to local and global organizational and business objectives.
-Participate in and contribute to cross-divisional work that brings value to the business.
-Seek and provide feedback from/to internal customers and key contacts in the Region and other divisions concerning relevance, timeliness, and other contributions.
-Where there is a potential benefit to TABUK, ensure all staff understand and successfully align efforts across divisions and functions.
6) Functional Strategy
-Ensure implementation of new and revised strategies, within agreed upon timeframes, that reflect overall organizational priorities and take into account impact on team structure, resource allocation and staff development.
-Ensure that staff and Business Partners understand, monitor, and implement global strategies locally.
-Fully align and leverage the resources to meet local goals.
-Use cross-functional approaches to find innovative ways to bring new products to launch. Expand and broaden penetration as well as seek new market opportunities for existing products.
-Ensure collaboration among the Regulatory, H.R., Legal, Finance, Admin, Medical, Marketing, Sales and Corporate Affairs functions.
7) Business/Products Development
-Ensure the successful identification, planning and exploitation of new products, brands or trade opportunities to develop the business in line with TABUK Strategic Plan.
-Proactively manage and maximize value from the entire product pipeline (rather than a few products).
-Ensure the successful, sustained development of co-promote, joint ventures and other business alliances.
-Analyze strategy and operating plans in order to identify sales and/or profit gaps and whether a new brand / line extension is required.
-Ensure that staff and Business Partners understand and carry out agreed upon recommendations.
