Field inspection and supervision to ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawing and project specifications. Monitor/Witness concreting works to ensure that concrete is placed in accordance with concreting procedure.
Monitor/Supervised construction activities to ensure that the works progresses in a manner that will result in compliance with the project specifications and approved drawings, and that the work is completed within specified period. Review inspection records and approved the results.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. Prepare activity reports, manpower and equipment utilization.
Coordination of subcontractors drawings, witness field and laboratory tests.
Prepare site sketches as required, coordinate with subcontractor regarding on site surveys, location and elevations, maintain and update quality records. Implement safe system of works in accordance with approved safety procedures.
Review plans and specifications of assigned project with construction supervisor; attend pre-construction conferences.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervising construction of culverts, structures, storm drains, sewers and other pipeline installations, including sand bedding, post bedding and backfilling.
Inspection, placement of reinforcing steel and concrete, structural steel, grouting, padding, and concreting works.
Determined quantity of work performed for contractor's
Checked to determine if barricades, lights, and flagmen are properly utilized at construction sites.
Maintained an inspector's diary and prepared written reports.
Assumed personal responsibility for ensuring that duties are performed in a safe, efficient manner. Performed other related duties as assigned.
Supervising placements of traffic signs, barricades, and flag persons for safe flow of traffic through construction area.
Supervising grade preparation for bituminous or concrete paving.
