As the Electrical Lead, my role involves managing a team of engineers, senior technicians, junior technicians, electricians, and HVAC technicians.
 Responsible for all HSE aspects related to area
 Responsible for the growth and training of team members, through on job tasking and training need analysis
 Keep close liaison with operation and technical teams for day-to-day affairs related to electrical maintenance activities
 Ensure closure of work orders as per requirement of operations team
 Execute Planned outages and forced outage with minimum resource
 Plan and execute TILS with respect to GT and ST
 Review and update maintenance procedures where required
 Ensure availability of all critical and operational spares and initiate order requests where required
 To find the best and cost-effective solutions of the electrical and electronics problems associated with the machines.
 In 2023, execute major inspection of gas turbine generator by drawing out rotors for inspection and conducting different electrical tests like (endoscopic inspection, ELCID, Partial discharge, Bump test, Tan delta, RSO, etc.) under the supervision of GE TFAs.

Currently leading a team of trainee engineer, senior technicians, junior technician, electricians, HVAC technician as Electrical Engineer in 175MW Combine Cycle Power Plant, which is situated at Daharki, under ownership of Foundation Power Company (Daharki) Limited.
  Prepare history records of equipments, inventory maintaining for corrective, predictive and preventive maintenance activities by using computerized maintenance management system.
 Prepare maintenance procedures and plans to implement them during plant running and shutdowns.
 Prepared fault analysis report using the data from protection relays, plant DCS trends and event recorder; also prepare shutdown and daily inspection reports of different electrical systems.
 Manage and update PM, routine and corrective maintenance records regarding electrical equipment/systems, tasks, generating/closing of work orders in CMMS.
 Purchasing spare parts, tools and consumables required for the preventive and corrective maintenance of plant electrical equipment.
 Well aware of operation and testing of microprocessor based protection relays including AREEVA, SIPROTEC, GE-G60, GE MULTILIN etc.
 Trouble shooting and maintenance and testing of power transformer up to 145MVA (Fourtune Electric), MV, LV motors, GT/ST Generators (GE France, Fuji Japan), Gas Insulated Switchgear (ABB, Siemens), Protection relays (Siemens. Micom, ABB), HV equipment, UPS and battery chargers, GT/ST (excitation system EX2100, control panels, MCC and their auxiliary systems), HVAC systems, cathodic protection system etc.
 Using measuring and testing equipments such as breaker analyzer, three phase secondary current injection test set BER-3 (ISA), Megger, Single phase secondary injection test set PTE-50 CE (SMC), Earth tester, Memory HI coder, Digital Multimeters, Oil tester DPA, Current injector (Multi amps), Phase sequence meter, Mega Ohmmeter, Micro Ohmmeter, Fluke Thermal Imager Ti32, etc.
 Testing of LV, MV, and Transformers protection relays testing using by using 3-phase/1-phase secondary injection and memory Hi coder test equipment.
 Software programs used for trouble shooting faults, upload readings, download parameters and etc. are Meter view 440, SICAM 230 Tool box II 4.0, Fault recorder OSCOP, ABB distance protection relay (CAP-540), Siemens distance protection relay (DIGSI V4.82), Siemens PLC( SIMATIC S7, step-7), HVAC Honeywell HMI (HC900 HCIX), HVAC Honeywell PLC (Hybrid control design v4.301), Water Treatment HMI (Intouch 10.0), etc.
 In 2016, execute major inspection of gas turbine and steam turbine generators by drawing out rotors for inspection and conducting different electrical tests like (endoscopic inspection, ELCID, Partial discharge, Bump test, Tan delta, RSO, etc.) under the supervision of Korean TFAs.

Achievements

 Selected as best employee of the year in 2014.
 Plan and execute modification in existing plant’s CO2 and FM200 firefighting system’s manual call point configuration to increase the reliability of the system.
 Study distance protection relays to find out the root cause of the mis-operation of the distance protection relay. Which later implement after NPCC approval.
 Properly connected and setup the GT GCB trip coil supervision relay circuit.

➢ Mainly involved in the troubleshooting and maintenance of different electrical equipment.
➢ Involved in power cable estimation as per load requirement for the new machine installation.
➢ PLC operated automatic high-speed machinery.
➢ Maintain daily log sheets, diesel consumption and daily break down reports.
➢ Prepare plans for monthly preventive maintenance and implement.
➢ Ensure and follow up material request on time.

Worked as Electrical Engineer in 175MW Combine Cycle Power Plant, which is situated at Daharki, under the governance of Foundation Power Company (Daharki) Limited (owner).
Mainly involved in the Erection, Pre commissioning, commissioning and operations;
 Energization, testing and trouble shooting of HV equipments and protection relays in 220KV AIS Switchyard.
 Overall interlocking test between MV switchgear, Turbine GCBs, AIS and transformer protection.
 Trouble shooting of GT and ST generator control panels.
 Involve in power receiving up to MV switchgears.
 Check all the power, signal and I/C cable connections from all electrical panels to respective machines and equipments.
 Perform solo test for all the motors.
 Perform loop test to check continuity of cables and signals.
 Pre commissioning, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of BSDGs.
 Working and maintenance of MV and LV switchgear, GCBs panels.
 Participating in Plant Performance test, reliability run test.
 Troubleshooting and maintenance of UPS and battery charger panels.

Here my responsibilities were
 Responsible for operation, maintenance & inspection for continuous running process industry.
 Prepare Plans For Implementation of Preventive Maintenance.
 System modification research and development necessary for smooth and efficient plant operation.
 To find the best, cheapest and cost effective solutions of the electrical and electronics problems associated with the machines.
 Ensure Material Requisition is made in Time and Proper Follow up for the same.
