1-Selection of ground handlers services for Air Cairo flights in Egypt and abroad. (Selection based on services, charges and name of the handler.)
2- Negotiation with ground handler for services and charges to achieve optimum benefit for Air Cairo .
3- Issuance and signature of ground handling agreements as per IATA Standards.
4- Follow up of services offered, and reports raised by station manager and operating crew.
5- Audit and inspect activities to make sure services are offered according to
agreement.
6-Availing all date of ground handlers to facilitate contact.
7-Arranging an oversight programme to external handling agents to
ensure that all ground handling operations performed in accordance with
AirCairo regulations requirements and as per SLA appended to Annex B, with eachhandling agent.
8- Issuing circulars and bulletins, distributes all amendments to all manual holders .
9- Distribution of traffic manuals and making sure that each concerned station has got his manual and update manual as per regulatory requirement
10- Making sure that current copy of the IATA dangerous goods book is available at each ground handler facilities through audits performed as per check list in volume 2 item 04.01.00 page 6.
11- Making sure that all ground handling functions including ramp operations, passengers services, cabin svcs, load control requirements, ground support equipment and fuel services are performed to Air Cairo requirements. The ground svcs manager is the responsible authority to liaison with the appropriate management of handling agents to correct operational issues.
12- He will be responsible for receiving the revised regulatory requirement, study its applicability and issue Bulletin as necessary to reflect the requirement, such bulletin will be distributed in similar way to revision of the TFM.
