•Carries out site HSE induction programs for Schlumberger and sub-contractor personnel to ensure awareness of ADNOC HSE requirements and standards.
•Provide support to rig site management to enforce and improve level of understanding and implementation ADNOC HSE management system at the rig.
•Providing safety advice & guidance to site management & supervisors.
•Company’s responsibility for environmental matters & waste management control.
•Organizing, coordinating & conducting safety educational & training courses for employees at different category.
•Ensures approved emergency procedures are well established and that all individuals are aware of their respective roles. Ensure emergency equipment is in place and maintained in optimum operating condition.
•Carries out investigations of all accidents, incidents & near-misses and prepares reports with Recommendations for remedial action.
•Ensures effective Hazard Identification Process (HIP) / Toolbox Talks (TBT) are held prior to commencing work.
•Identifies training needs and communicates these to senior colleagues. Provides guidance and Advice to junior colleagues.
•Participates in Task Risk Assessment & JSA (Job Safety Analysis).
•Practical use of fire extinguishers & their use for different fire classes.
•Monitor and audit, that an effective permit to work system is implemented which control/minimize the potential hazards of all activities.
•Coordination with Project Manager and HSE Manager about HSE performance matters & issues.
•Prepare weekly HSE reports & messages to be distributed: Safety Alerts, Safety feedback which keep us up to date on local/ADNOC HSE requirements.
•Maintaining HSE record (Checklists, audits, HSE meetings, HSE training, weekly reports.
•Creation of HSE Alertness and Awareness among the Site workforce through Safety Posters, Slogans, and Safety Alert Bulletins Display at Prominent Places.
•Develop and promote HSE programs by writing and updating the HSE rules and procedure.
•Helping to establish and put in place key Health and Safety polices processes and methods.
•Delivering front line safety related education & training to various members of staff.
•Coordinating all HSE activities related to Loading/Offloading of Project activities.
•Arranging safety appreciation programs.
•Conducting safety meetings and attending daily toolbox talks.
•Preparation of JSA & implementing company & client safety policies.
•Hazard identification & control.
•Implementation of safety systems.
•Monitoring safety performances & emergency work permit procedures.
•Providing safety advice & guidance to site management & supervisors.

•Ensure required off job training courses are scheduled and successfully completed.
•Ensure that subcontractors' HSE standards are aligned to the Group/Project procedures and provide support for improvement.
•Proficient in risk assessments, behavioral based safety, environmental, industrial hygiene,
Auditing, root cause analysis, incident investigation etc.
