Conduct daily safety briefing before starting the operation.
Exercise immediate and effective control of all persons who are engaged in helicopter operations, or who are on or near the helicopter landing area.
Immediately report any form of deviation on the helicopter deck to his immediate superior/installation manager, so that the helicopter operator may be informed of the situation.
Positioned to be able to observe as best as possible, and closely monitor, landing and take-off. Shall immediately inform the pilot via radio or visually if any abnormal situation occurs.
Responsible of marshalling the helicopter.
Ensuring pre-operational and post-operational helipad checks are carried out.
Ensuring all equipment and facilities in good condition.
Ensuring all Personal Protective Equipments is worn all the time.
Ensuring that on receipt of radio information regarding helicopter arrivals, helipad facilities are ready to receive the aircraft.
Ensuring the safe movement of passengers, baggage, freight and correct loading of the aircraft.
Refueling of helicopter if required
Ensuring correct manifest procedures are used.
Initiating fire-fighting and rescue procedures on the helipad, and ensuring that members of the helipad crew carry out their duties as described in the SMS.
Responsible for leading the initial response to a helicopter emergency and leading the HDA helipad emergency response team during any emergency.

Helping the team in the crowed control during the event of emergency or limited access implementation.

• Supervise the activities during landing and take-off of the helicopter.
• Making sure that the Helideck is Clean and Safe for landing
• Ensure the firefighting equipment’s are in the working Condition.
• Conduct Routing inspection and check all the Helipad Lighting System is working properly such as Perimeter lights, Flood lights, Beacon Lights including the Wind Sock.
• Daily Check the Emergency Kits condition and inventory.
• Communicating to the pilot of the Helicopter through HF radio.
• Taking note the Details of helicopter, Pilot, Passenger, Cargo Manifest.
• Not allowing Medical Staff to Approach the Helicopter while the engine still running.
• Escorting Medical Staff for taking out or bringing in the patient to the Helicopter.
• Properly take care all HLO equipment’s such are radio and emergency kits and make sure all equipment are in place after use.
Performs a combination of services including access control/reception and customer service.
To enforce safety and peace in the working area, report all incidents, and assist in case of emergency.
Assist with the daily supervision of contractors in and out Processing.
Performed protective and enforcement duties to ensure the safety of staff and contract workers in the construction site.
Ensure all visitors exchange passes upon entry into the premises.
Coordinate and lead response to emergency situation such as fire, safety hazards, threats to life and the construction site.
