• Handling the check-in and check-out procedures
• Checking the profile notes especially for VIP and regular guest.
• Checking the filling process and reception check list on daily basis .
• Checking the correspondences for all the arrival and guest-in house rooms and communicate with sales and reservation in case of any discrepancy.
• Checking the updating profiles of guests and checking the payment methods for all arrivals.
• Responsible for the membership of the hotel and its figures &statistics.
• Responsible for the Incentive of Front office Dept according the incremental revenue of up selling.
• Handling the groups Check-In & closing the city ledger of long-stay guests on monthly basis.
• Check the credit Limit, Rate variance, High balance and pending PMs Accounts.
• Handling night shift as a relieving night manager for two months and be responsible for preparing the night run and checking rates and forecast in addition to preparing the daily competition and morning report.
• Handling the training of Opera System and front office training.
• Checking the long stay guest folios and making the proper gift vouchers as a part of the recognition program.
• Checking loyalty program and the entitled guest for subscription also Air miles points and handling any complaint concerning that issue.
• Making all the presentations and movies concerning the Front office Dept of Minute Meetings.
• Checking the groups with sales & reservation dept. and revise the contract and group memos.
• Checking the long-stay guest and check their legibility for discounts also for gold members.
• Checking the blocking of arrival rooms on regular basis especially allocating the VIP guests
Perform check in, check out and room change procedures and ensure all data are accurately entered into the hotel system.
• Maintain cashier float and ensure accurate daily report of all money received.
• Handling Cashiering for all hotel guests’ and travelers checks and assist with currency exchange
• Keep abreast of all modifications to accounting policies and procedures.
• Attend to guests’ request of using the service of safety box at all times.
• Knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures for programs such as Seasonal Packages, Frequent Flyers Programs, and also Hotels Group Loyalty programs.
• Attend to guest’s complaints, inquiries and requests, refer problems to supervisor/Assistant Manager if he/she unable to assist
• Is familiar with other Danat properties and sister hotels so that guest indicating any next destination on the registration card can be “sold” an onward booking to another Danat property.
• Ensure that the guests depart the hotel with a positive impression of hotel service.
• Perform the audit balances and prepare all reports for audit.
• On night shift, check night report, prepare all necessary forms and welcome letters for guest arrivals.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures.
