- Liaised with project procurement and build management team when goods required on-site
- Determined, set-up and deployed the logistics strategy for deliveries from abroad together with the relevant functions within the project
- Managed the selected forwarding companies in regard of the logistics of the goods from abroad within the timeframe that is in line with the overall project and construction schedule.
- Supported in the organization of the required inspection services at the supplier’s workshop with a focus on the compliance of the delivery with the transport documents.
- Liaised with and manage the vendors / suppliers in regard to the required transport documents for the
-Supervised the fulfillment of the parts order process cycle, overseeing client demands and ensuring orders are established within time-frame
-Implemented collaborative planning, forecasting and stock replenishment for Egypt / territories
-Defined types of orders to be placed to the supplier (Perkins Engines Limited)
-Recommended computer applications improvements
-Maintained the reporting system and prepares reports/studies as required by the management
-Instructed new territory personal on the proper ordering procedures
-Conducted the annual physical inventory count of East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda)
-Supervised the stock adjustment of the annual inventory count of Egypt, East & West Africa
-Implemented company’s local system application in Levant region (Iraq, Jordan & Palestine)
-Achieved $ 5.2 million through shipping and invoicing off shore orders over five years
-Answered parts inquiries in term of availability and replacement and received from territories
-Reviewed and analyzed the suppler annual price list
-Shipped over 3, 000 tons of spare parts to Egypt, East & West Africa over five years
-Executed the negotiated new agreements and the extension of existing ones, monitored contract terms and ensured supply lead times are met
-Achieved 95% accuracy in meeting customer’s delivery deadlines
-Received over 1, 300 shipments of spare parts on the system for Egypt
-Implemented the company’s local ERP system application (Manpro)
-Followed up with the finance department the monthly payment to the supplier (Perkins Engines Limited).

- Responsible for all import dept.'s correspondences with Line's agents and the principles regarding all manifests/bills of ladings, documentation issues, consignee's requests of amendments, free time extensions and sending notifications of shipments' arrival
