O&M Responsibilities
•Carry out the operation and maintenance of plants as per contract with the client.
•Planning of spares and consumables for smooth and interruption free operation of the plant.
•Prepare, develop and implement the routine, preventive and predictive maintenance (mechanical and E & I) Plans, improve the direct maintenance methods and standards for repair of wide rage stationary and rotating equipment.
•Ensure the implementation of maintenance schedules in its true spirit for smooth and reliable operation of plant and equipment.
•Conduct daily coordination meeting with engineering department (mechanical and E & I) on day to day maintenance activities.
•Ensure the safe and smooth operation of the plant by following the PTW system.
•Ensure the availability and implementation of HSE policies.
•Planning and hiring skilled man power resources for the efficient operation of the plant.
•Optimizes the plant parameters to control the design figures and consumption of consumables.

Involved in the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and operation of 600 MTPD of Ammonia plant having production capacity of 1050 MTPD Urea.
•Prepare circuits for steam flushing and air blowing of pipelines, equipment internal inspection and its chemical cleaning, checking of test packs as per Isometric drawings, inspection of proper gaskets, valves and piping elevation as per drawings.
•Be involved in catalyst/chemicals loading to vessels or equipments as per recommendation of suppliers or manufacturers.
•Commissioning of Steam turbines, Centrifugal compressors latched with the electronic control governors and started from the Turbine panel (MHI-Japan).
•Commissioning of Benfield system for CO2 separation from the Synthesis Gas by the addition of K2CO3 solution, KNO2 solution, V2O5 and Anti-foaming agent.
•Commissioning of refrigeration compressor along with the Ammonia unitized exchanger for the liquefaction of Ammonia vapors.
•Commissioning of Ammonia storage tank along with the Ammonia Package Compressor for the compression of ammonia vapors.
•Commissioning of flare stack for the burning of ammonia vapors as being vented to atmosphere.
•Took part in plant start-up, shut-down and responsible for the normal plant operation.
•Prepare list for the major and minor shut downs.
•Suggest modification for the process improvements, equipment safety and process controls.
•Checking of operator and DCS log sheets to see any major or minor change if occurred in the process.
•Co-ordinate with the service departments for the proper follow up of preventive maintenance schedule and give necessary support for the follow up of daily maintenance activities efficiently and effectively.
