Presently working in UFLEX FILMS DIVISION in its EGYPT PLANT as an in charge production department of aluminium metallized BOPP, CPP, PET and ALOx transparent High barrier specialised films.
Responsibilities of the job include:
• Planning and Organising production schedules
• Assessing project and resources requirements
• Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
• Determining quality control standards
• Overseeing production processes
• Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
• Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
• Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Supervising the work of junior staff.
Involving in research and development for ALOx transparent film along with General Vacuum, UK.
Implementing BRC: IOP (Global Standard for packaging and packaging materials) in all of our three production lines in our Egypt Plant.
SPECIAL TRAINING: Special training on ALOx technology (new high barrier transparent film) in General Vacuum UNITED KINGDOM. Training program was being conducted for 15 days and covers thorough technical know-how for this new technology of making high barrier transparent ALOx polyester film.
Worked as Executive Engineer (Production, hot rolling) in Jindal Stainless Ltd., Hisar, Haryana from April 2002 to Nov 2010.Worked as an operation engineer on Steckle mill (4 Hi mill)continuous line for hot rolling of stainless steel. Responsible for production planning, monitoring and controlling process (rolling of steel).Involvement in maintenance of the line during shutdowns, Involvement in process development, maintaining shift reports, log book, equipment history records, as per ISO systems, responsible for ISO documentation, worked on process improvement projects to increase productivity, worked also on quality related project, provide leadership and direction to assigned associates, maintain daily production schedules and ensure safety, quality and production requirements, track and coordinate department manpower, production, and budget, analyse problems and implement countermeasures to improve department performance .Worked as project engineer for erection and commissioning of twin stand (two stand rolling steckel mill) during expansion.
Material processed here is supplied to cold rolling unit, Indian Mint, Auto Sector, Indian Railways, Razor blade manufacturing companies and to export.
Practical knowledge of rolling of steel, its quality, processes on stainless steel to attain desired properties as per the application of product. Worked simultaneously with ISO, TPM, SIX SIGMA, OHSAS, Q-SHE policy.
