Inbound Supply Chain (Production Planning)
• Assisting the shift/Production Manager in the assessment and development of staff and identify training needs to provide adequate succession planning.
• Maintaining high standards of Safety & Hygiene on all machine and equipments.
• Liaising with the management team regarding the training needs on safe system of work and consumer complaints & implementation of corrective action on time.
• Ensuring that all safety checklists are completed as per schedule.
• Conducting tool box meeting whenever necessary.
• Conducting monthly risk assessments.
• Ensuring that the production techniques are carried on within a highest hygienic conditions to avoid any micro contaminations
• Following up production PMP schedules regularly and ensure all the PMP schedules are completed within the schedule timings.
• Target “No - service cuts” if in the event there are cuts then ensure effective communication to planning & warehouse with remedial actions
• Measuring and understanding all waste streams, identify the root cause of the LIP and forward effective ideas of eliminating it.
• To optimize the over head cost
• Basic knowledge of OEE, Productivity, Line Balancing &Yield Calculation
• Monitor and control of process and product quality during preparation and product dispatch to filling machine as per the “HACCP, 5S, GMP and ISO 22000”.
• Maximizing the machine /staff output to reduce the potential cost of downtime
Over all responsibilities of independently handling the shift with around 100 casuals on shop floor.
To efficiently co- ordinate shift operations to deliver planned production target compliance.
To comply/check the availability of RM/PM on shop floor as per production plan.
Monitoring and control of process and product quality during preparation and Product
Dispatch to filling Machine as per the “HACCP, 5S, GMP and ISO 22000”.
To ensure SKU wise volume requirement in Shift.
Meet set production targets for the shift by using of efficiently utilization of 5 M (Men, Machine,
Material, Method and Measurement).
Responsible for the cleanliness of production areas & maintain personal hygiene during the shift change.
Implementation of SOP’s and maintains records/logbook as per ISO 22000.
Basic knowledge of Productivity, Line Balancing & Yield Calculation.
Reporting to Production Manager and keep up-to-date to all production activities.
Co-ordination to all departments like engineering and lab
