* Responsibilities:
- Plan, set and direct local and international marketing strategies of Royal Jordanian’s services which shall aim to enhance the company’s corporate image and keep the public informed and aware of RJ’s services.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by creating programs to attract prospective passengers as well as monitoring sales performance locally and internationally.
- Ensures that all operations are safe and meet all the legal requirements.
- Transforms policies, strategies and objectives into long, medium and short-term plans, which include internal development and productivity increase.
- Proposes plans and programs that strive to develop the promotion of services & product.
- Review the analysis of market surveys on current and new service concepts in order to recommend future service development.
- Manage the proposed media plans in terms of cost effectiveness, quality of recommended publications, as well as relevance to RJ’s strategies and target markets.
- Handle corporate advertising on ad-hoc basis through negotiating deals with the media, preparing barter or cash payment agreements and correspondences, in addition to coordinating with the agency on producing the ads.
- Prepare periodic reports with respect to the station’s activities and achievements in addition to the market trends, changes and competitor activities to be submitted to the sales management.
- Represent the company with all authorities and suppliers and corporations within the area of function.
- Maintain close relationships with travel agents, GSAs, governmental agencies and commercial organizations in order to promote and maximize the station’s revenue.
- Attend all conferences and meetings of airlines and aviation authorities and provide the management with the related reports afterwards.
- Maintain control over the station’s expenses and ensures that all expenses are within the budget.
- Follow up on all current contracts and agreements in his/her area, ensure they are implemented, and composes new contracts and agreements to benefit and increase the revenue.
- Follow-up on recruitment plans and sets manpower requirements and their development plans.
- Assign duties, prepares work schedules and expedites work flow to improve efficiency of subordinates and maintain harmony among them.
- Manage, guide, and monitor the day-to-day activities of all field sales staff to ensure excellent performance levels and smooth flow of business.
- Hold regular meetings with the employees to discuss issues they are facing, provide them with timely decisions to solve the problems they are facing, and introduce new strategies to them.
- Provide support and training to the team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Lead a team of 6 Engineers.
- Set and implemented RJ’s Systems’ Backup Policy and Software, monitoring daily Backup Jobs, Logs and tapes.
- Personally set and implemented RJ’s Internet Usage Policy, administered the Proxy Server, monitored Usage, Logs and Performance.
- Provide Technical Support to End Users.
- Assuring the stability of the IT Infrastructure, solving any issues.
